DAVID BERG
(1920-2002) American cartoon artist know for his long-running strip "The Lighter Side" in Mad Magazine. A fine piece of original artwork for his strip, executed in pen and ink on a 10" x 15" sheet of cardstock, and showing a proud older gentleman promenading with an elegant, voluptuous woman while two onlookers gaze jealously from the background. Captioned in pencil: "She used to be my girl friend, then I made the mistake of telling her about my millionaire uncle - Now she's my aunt!". Signed "Berg", with his New Rochelle address stamp on verso. Very good condition.
