The all new Elicit MK5 stereo integrated amplifier is designed and built to the highest standard. Housed in our latest custom case to match the rest of the Rega range, the new MK5 builds on previous Rega designs by using our multi-award-winning Class A/B power amplifier circuit to deliver a powerful 105 W per channel into 8 Ω loads (127 W into 6 Ω). Our engineers have designed a new Rega DAC circuit offering digital connectivity and greater integration with a variety of other products. The heart of your music - The new Elicit MK5 calls on decades of electronic design experience. It is a complex blend of three of our most successful products which promises to deliver big on sound, power, features and style. The Elicit MK5 is capable of driving difficult loudspeakers with ease and will integrate perfectly into any audio system by offering a wide range of connectivity options. In addition to line, digital, and a high-quality moving magnet (MM) phono input, you will also find pre-out, Direct in, Record loop functionality and the high-performance headphone output. As you would expect, special attention has been paid to the selection of key audio components. Discrete circuitry, high-quality relays, polypropylene capacitors, and Sanken output transistors are used throughout the design. The galvanically/optically isolated digital inputs utilise a Wolfson S/PDIF receiver IC to provide exceptional detail and clarity from any connected source. Output is provided by a Wolfson DAC and Rega designed discrete line-driver circuit. The new Elicit MK5 calls upon decades of award-winning experience in amplifier and digital circuit design which culminates in a perfectly engineered balance of reliability, connectivity and above all, accurate music reproduction. REVIEW & AWARDSRega Elicit Mk5 has got the power - Read More"I do not envy a newcomer to the bewildering word of hi-fi, trying to cut through the cacophony of opinion, reviews, brands, sales spin and choice to make a buying decision. It is small wonder that the market for all-in-one solutions is growing. At £2,000 here in the UK, the Rega Elicit Mk5 is by no means inexpensive but given the array of features on offer as well as the outstanding sound quality it should serve as the hub of an excellent system. I was sorry to see it go. Highly recommended." - Chris Kelly Rega Elicit Mk5 Integrated Amplifier Review - Read More"With the Elicit Mk5, the same comparison made against the peerless NAIT XS3 comes down in the other direction. The Rega is £500 cheaper, matches the Naim across the analogue inputs, headphone output and phono stage and then has those two digital connections too. This is, by the standards of Rega anyway, a fairly radical amp but it is still a Rega through and through and an unquestionable Best Buy." - Ed Selley Rega Elicit Mk5 integrated amplifier - Read More"The Rega Elicit Mk5 is a brawny amplifier with a full package for the odyssey of the audiophile journey. The excellent and comprehensive DAC treatment, the high-quality MM phono stage and the decent headphone output make this the leading contender at this price point in my view." - Simon Wilce Rega Elicit MK5 review - Read More"Just over 30 years on from the original, the Elicit integrated remains an excellent choice for those that prioritise sonic performance. While this latest iteration offers more features than previous generations, it still can’t be said to be particularly generous in this respect. But, what’s left is one of the best sounding integrated amplifiers available at this price, one that’s as comfortable with digital sources as it is with analogue. Recommended? You bet." - What Hi-Fi?
