Having now played Balatro on Switch, Steam Deck, my laptop, iPhone, and iPad, it is definitely best played on iOS or Steam Deck. If you have Apple Arcade, this is immediately the best game on the service alongside Fantasian, but if you don't, the mobile release is more than worth the asking price.
