Abstract

The invention relates to a device for drying and cleaning small goods, particularly comminuted plastic waste, comprising a stationary container (1), which inside a screen jacket (3) disposed on the container jacket (2) forms an annular flow duct (4) for the goods to be treated, said flow duct having at least one goods discharge (5) for the treated goods connected to the container jacket (2) and at least one collection chamber (6) between the screen jacket (3) and the container jacket (2) for precipitation from the flow duct (4), an outlet (7) for cleaning and drying air being connected to said collection chamber, and further comprising at least one fan (9) for a cleaning and drying air current circulating inside the flow duct (4) for the goods to be treated, said fan (9) being associated with a suction fan (10) on the container bottom side for plastic waste to be introduced into the container (1) via an intake shaft (26) and a radial fan (11) connecting thereto for the goods to be circulated in the flow duct (4). In order to create advantageous cleaning conditions, it is proposed to provide the fan (9) with a rotor having three fan units in the axial direction (15), of which the first forms the suction fan (10), the second the radial fan (11) and the third an impeller that is open on one side and has blades (16) pointing from the radial fan (11) in the axial direction.
