Abstract
被検体に光を照射する投光部先端と被検体との絶対距離を精度よく測定し、被検体との距離の影響を受けずに定量性のある被検体の画像を取得する。体腔内に配置される挿入体(6)の先端に、該先端に対向する被検体に対して光を照射する投光部(12)および被検体から戻る観察光を受光する受光部(12)と、超音波の発振により挿入体(6)と被検体との絶対距離を計測する超音波センサ(13)と、該超音波センサ(13)により取得された絶対距離情報に基づいて観察光の輝度情報を補正する補正部(32)と、該補正部(32)により補正された観察光の輝度情報に基づいて被検体の画像を生成する画像生成部(32)とを備える内視鏡観察装置(1)を提供する。
