Fassung für die Augengläser von Rauchschutzbrillen, Atemmasken, Gasschutzmasken
o. dgl. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Fassung für die Augengläser von Rauchschutzbrillen,
Atemmasken, Gasschutzmasken o. dgl., welche aus einem die Gläser an ihrem Umfang
beiderseits umgreifenden Rahmen, im wesentlichen aus elastischem Baustoff, besteht.
Bei derartigen Fassungen macht sich der Nachteil geltend, daß derjenige Teil der
Fassung, welcher die vordere oder Außenfläche des Augenglases übergreift, manchmal
schon im Ruhezustand, erst recht aber nach Anlegen der Schutzbrille oder der Maske
abklafft, so daß er nicht mehr gut dichtend anliegt. Diesen Übelstand zu beseitigen
ist Zweck der Erfindung. Dies soll durch eine solche Ausbildung der Fassung erreicht
werden, daß bei nicht eingesetztem Augenglas mindestens der vordere, zum Übergreifen
der Außenfläche des Augenglases bestimmte Fassungsrand nach dem Innern der Fassung
zu kegelig geneigt ist, so daß er nach Einlegen des Augenglases im gespannten Zustande
dicht an der Außenfläche des Augenglases anliegt. Außerdem kann zur Erhöhung der
Abdichtung ein an sich bekannter Spannring solcher Ausbildung verwendet werden,
daß er nicht nur zur verstärkten Abdichtung, sondern auch zur Sicherung gegen ein
Herausplatzen der Augengläser bei mechanischerBeanspruchung dieser oder der Brille
oder Maske dient, ohne dabei die Auswechselbarkeit der Augengläser nennenswert zu
