Sourdough Coffee Cake

Ingredients
Cake
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg (slightly beaten)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon flour
Directions
- Combine sourdough starter, oil and egg.
- Stir together dry ingredients and add to sourdough mixture.
- Put dough into greased 9 inch square pan.
- Crumble topping ingredients together (I use a pastry blender) and sprinkle topping on top of batter.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
