In 2003, just one year after Eminem starred in the Academy Award–winning film 8 Mile, the hip-hop artist and 15-time Grammy winner purchased a $4.75 million home in Rochester Hills, Michigan. But 14 years later it seems the 44-year-old is eager to unload the property, considering he has listed it at a huge reduction for just $2 million according to Trulia.

The 17,500-square-foot mansion sits on a roomy 5.7 acres in the northern outskirts of the Metropolitan Detroit area, where he spent much of his youth. The home has a front terrace and a stone front façade at the entrance. The kitchen is a spacious wood-filled room with endless cabinet space and an adorable breakfast nook next to a series of windows and thin wood paneling covering the ceiling. Another room uses the same thin paneling to cover a high vaulted ceiling, with most of the wall space dedicated to tall windows and glass French doors. Each of the home’s five bedrooms has a private en suite bathroom; there are there are two more full baths and three half-baths throughout the home.

The backyard features a large waterfall swimming pool and a spa surrounded by patio space. A circular cabana with light-filled glass walls and a kitchenette offers a retreat from the outdoors and lush trees surrounding the yard provide privacy. The mostly wooded property also boasts a guardhouse, a five-car garage, a tennis and basketball court with a court-side gazebo, and ample nighttime lighting. A private pond and a separate guesthouse with a game room also sit on the expansive property.
