Signing amicus briefs asking the U.S. Supreme Court to allow a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas seeking to overturn the results of the presidential election in four states were 126 members of the House of Representatives, the attorneys general of 19 states and a lawyer claiming to represent the states of New California and New Nevada.

The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the lawsuit, backed by President Donald Trump, that sought to set aside electoral votes for Joe Biden in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The states, in addition to Texas, were: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.

Robert E. Thomas III of Pahrump, Nevada, filed his own amicus brief claiming he was the attorney for the states of New California and New Nevada.
