LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the top prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s why he’s not just a one good season quarterback.

As the college football season wraps up entering bowl season, discussions about the top prospects in the upcoming draft start to ramp up. Every season there is a couple of quarterbacks that most believe to be in a tier of their own. Then you sprinkle in some unique talents of other position groups, and you have your debate about the top picks. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is the front runner at the quarterback position in the 2020 NFL Draft before the playoffs.

Playing a nearly flawless season in 2019, Burrow has taken an LSU program from being a good team to arguably the best in the country. After winning the Heisman trophy by a record-setting margin, there are still plenty of question marks brought up regarding the young prospect. Most questions are based upon one good season of production. Another would be whether the success stems from Burrow’s talent or whether he is a product of the offense.

Every season some prospects come out of nowhere surprising the entire country. When talking about the quarterback position, there are plenty of reasons to be asking these questions. After all, drafting a quarterback at the top of the draft can make or break a general manager’s career in the NFL.
