Leonor and Sofia’s nanny

So here’s a theory for those spanish royal watchers who are interested. As most of you would know, it has always been said that Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia have a british nanny that addresses them in english and that’s why they have a great english. But nothing ever was confirmed or admitted publicly like Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s spanish nanny Maria or Estelle’s nanny (don’t remember her nationality, I think she’s Australian). There has been some stories too like the time they visited their grandfather at the hospital, I remember they said that the girls spoke to the doctors in english or the time Infanta Sofia said “Hello” to a english speaking photographer in the annual photocall at Marivent Palace. Anyways, in case it’s true I may have an idea of who it is as there’s a woman I’ve seen in different occasions with them.

Here’s the first one when Felipe, Letizia and the girls went to the zoo some years ago. She’s the one in the pink jacket helping Queen Sofia with Infanta Sofia:

Also there’s this photo of the family at the three kings parade tho I’m not sure is the same woman but I think so (the one in the first photo):

And lastly, the photo of Queen Sofia driving the girls and their cousins after an evening sailing, taken less than a week ago. There’s a women sitting between Leonor and Sofia and I’d say it is her:

This is of course just a theory result of me being bored. I’m calling spanish royal watchers. So what do you think? Is it the same woman?

just a theory i've always wondered about this princess leonor infanta sofia ask

  6. laroyalfan said: I think you are correct about the nanny I thought that too when I saw that last photograph in the car. The lady on the three kings parade is actually Cristina de Borbon y Dos Sicilias and her husband Carlos.
