Kim Richards forced to pay $266K for alleged pit bull attack

A judge ordered Kim Richards to pay more than $266,000 after she ignored a legal battle over her pit bull allegedly attacking a woman, The Blast reported.

In 2015, Richards’ neighbor Kelly Crossley sued the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, claiming Richards’ dog Kingsley attacked her, causing “grave bodily injuries.”

Crossley sought unspecified damages over the incident.

Richards didn’t respond to the lawsuit or show up to court, according to The Blast, so on Aug. 7, the judge in the case granted a default judgment against Richards in the amount of $266,092.39, along with an additional $865.

Page Six has reached out to Richards’ rep for comment.

This is one of a few legal snafus Richards has found herself in regarding her dog. Page Six reported in April that Richards settled her former assistant’s lawsuit that claimed Kingsley viciously attacked her. Kim’s sister Kyle Richards was also listed in the suit because she owned Kim’s home.
