These 12 Most Memorable Celebrity Wedding Tattoos Will Make You Want to Say 'I Do' to Your Local Tattoo Artist

Sure, ginormous engagement rings are fun and all, but tattoos? Tattoos are an even more creative (also: uh, permanent) way to flaunt that love.

Whether they're matching ink bands or anniversary tributes, engagement and wedding tats are usually loaded with meaning. Here are 12 of the most eye-catching ones:

1. The Beckhams' MULTIPLE wedding tattoos.

David has "Victoria" and "99"–a reference to the year they were married–on his hand. He also got 10 roses on his arms to mark their 10-year anniversary.

But wait, there's more!

The pair both got "I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine" in Hebrew for their sixth wedding anniversary:

They also have matching "VIII.V.MMVI" wrist tattoos to mark the date of their secret marriage-renewal ceremony in 2006.

Safe to say: no one on this list will top their commitment to tattoos.

2. Beyoncé and Jay-Z's 'IV' bands.

Instead of getting rings, the pair tatted the Roman numeral for "4" on their ring fingers, symbolizing their birthdays (Bey's is September 4, Jay's is December 4). In 2017, people noticed that Beyoncé made a slight tweak to hers as spotted in a music video–she added a line connecting the "I" and "V", potentially signifying that the relationship was stronger than ever (this was after Lemonade came out, which makes sense, as the couple reportedly grew from Jay-Z's cheating scandal).

3. Ariana's "Pete" tattoo on her ring finger.

Ariana recently covered this engagement tattoo with a band-aid at a event right after her breakup with Pete. OK so the relationship didn't last super long, but we'll always have the memory of those pre-and-post-engagement tats, which even Davidson joked about getting.

4. Dax Shepard's (Kristen) Bell wedding band.

I mean, listen. If YOU were married to Certifiably Perfect Human Kristen Bell, would you also not get a literal symbol of her last name on your finger? (I'd get like 12, personally). He also added a "K" for Kristen and an "L" and "D" for their kids, Lincoln and Delta. TOO CUTE, TOO CUTE.

5. Kelly Rowland's teeny ring tat.

Kelly gave her sparkly engagement ring from Tim Witherspoon a cute companion with this super small band. And as of late, she's worn the actual ring less but the tat is very clearly still there!

6. Behati Prinsloo Levine's dainty dots.

She told Yahoo! Style that the dots symbolize "being one with the earth," but that she also wanted something there even when she takes her engagement and wedding bands off. And of course, her hubby Adam Levine has also gotten some finger tats in his wife's honor.

7. Ewan McGregor's heart-on-his-actual-sleeve tattoo.

The actor got a heart and dagger in honor of his wife of 20+ years, Eve Mavrakis, and added the names of their children as well.

8. Miley and Liam's matching Vegemite jars.

Re-engaged couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got tattoos of the famous Australian spread–hers on her arm, his on his ankle–in 2016 after getting back together again.

9. Kelly Ripa's tribute to her husband.

After over a decade of marriage to Mark Consuelos, Kelly debuted her wrist tattoo of his last name in 2010. And they're still going strong, obvi.

10. Marco Perego's portrait of Zoe Saldana.

Again, when you're married to a flawless person, getting her face tattooed on your forearm isn't sooooo crazy. It's actually totally logical.

11. Benji Madden's giant chest tattoo.

Some celeb couples are so random that you literally forget about them. Benji and Cameron Diaz DEFINITELY might fall into that category for you, but this commemorative ink is 100 percent unforgettable.

12. Kaley Cuoco's wedding tat that's been covered by a MUCH better one.

When she and Ryan Sweeting were married, Kaley had their wedding date tattooed in Roman numerals on her back. Once they divorced, she covered it up with gorgeous moth wings.
