In the world of automotive innovations, few transformations are as awe-inspiring as this Maruti Suzuki Omni van converted into a roaring hotrod with a powerful V8 engine. Designed by Arushi Garg, a mom and a content creator on Instagram, who is part of the "Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge" a popular show that premiers on NBC TV, hosted by Rutledge Wood, along with a panel of judges and celebrity guests.

In the video (below) Garg opens up about how she was selected for the show, and her emotional connection with Maruti Omni, the first car that her late father had bought.

Garg also shares that this is the first car project that she has ever worked on, and the complete project took about a week to transform the car inside out. She also mentioned that it took a team of 4 to bring this awe-inspiring transformation to life.

A replica of Garg's family car was used as the base model for the modification project, and it was a homage to her father and the Indian culture as she clearly explains in the video.

The conversion from a humble van to this powerful hot rod is nothing short of remarkable. Its custom paint job incorporates vibrant Indian hues and intricate patterns, beautifully depicting Indian motifs that narrate the country's rich cultural heritage.

The fusion of traditional Indian artistry and modern automotive aesthetics can be seen in every detail, from the ornate embellishments to the handcrafted designs. The van's elongated body now exudes an air of regal elegance, reminiscent of the opulent palaces of Rajasthan.

Inside the Jaipur Jewel, one is transported to the grandeur of India's royal era. The cabin is an embodiment of luxury, adorned with sumptuous fabrics in rich Indian colors and textures. Meticulously upholstered seats feature fine Indian textiles, and the interior panels boast intricate engravings with traditional patterns that tell stories of Rajasthan's glorious past.

The Grand Finale:

Only a few of selected finalists would be able to make it to the final competition where they would have to come up with another creation. The winning car would then be transformed into an actual Hot Wheels toy and sold worldwide.
