A South Carolina man driving a tractor-trailer full of beer crashed on I-10 early Wednesday, leaving beer cans and cases scattered across the roadway.

Michael Nolan Powell, 44, of Simpsonville, S.C., was driving a tractor-trailer west near Holt, Fla., near Pensacola around 2:40 a.m. CT Wednesday when he veered off the road and into the shoulder before overturning, according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Powell suffered minor injuries and was wearing a seat belt, according to the release. But an estimated 60,000 pounds of Busch beer was thrown from the trailer.

He was charged with careless driving, according to the release.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and shared pictures of the crash on Facebook and Twitter.

Powell had minor injuries and was treated at the scene, according to the sheriff's office post.

The beer? It didn't fare so well. Anheuser-Bush Cos., the St. Louis-based makers of @BuschBeer, was in mourning, so to speak, on Twitter.
