With WrestleMania season soon to reach its peak, reports, rumors, and speculation have run rampant. It's no surprise as WrestleMania is WWE's biggest annual show, and you can always count on some pleasant surprises.

Could John Cena provide another memorable moment when "The Granddaddy of Them All" hits Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia?

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the WrestleMania 40 status of John Cena depends on the future Hall of Famer's Hollywood schedule. It's been said that even if Cena has acting obligations in the midst of WrestleMania, he could make an appearance as long as he doesn't put himself in harm's way.

Meltzer noted that he was told if Cena does show up at "The Showcase of The Immortals," he would doing something meaningful, "short" and "fun."

Cena's most recent match took place at the Crown Jewel PLE back in November 2023. The WWE legend lost to Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline. Many have speculated that the company would revisit that feud once Cena is able to step inside the ring again, but that remains to be seen.

Cena performed at last year's WrestleMania event, challenging Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship. Cena also lost that match.
