I Shall Return Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

I Shall Return

Rating: 4.7

When there's no stravation or homelessness
Because we've shared our bounty
And when there's no police brutality
Especially for the wrong-coloured skin
I'll be back
Where the guns will be silenced
And the rivers are once more clear
As big business cleans them
I'll return
When everyone is equal
Rich or Poor
Male or Female
Black or White
I shall return

To me, it sounds like the triumphant return of Jesus. He is so greatly needed in these desperate times!
