Time is running out for the Infiniti G37 Sedan, which as previously announced, will be phased out of production by the middle of next year. When the carryover 2015 version shows up next month, this upscale compact 4-door will carry a new model designation – Q40 in rear-drive form and Q40 AWD for the all-wheel-drive variant.

With its place in the lineup being taken by the all-new Infiniti Q50, it’s no surprise that the Q40/Q40 AWD will begin its final lap with a trimmed-down options roster. Exterior colors will be limited to Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Black Obsidian and Moonlight White with add-on equipment confined to the Navigation Plus Package (Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth, digital video file playback from USB flash drive and DVD-Video playback from disc slot) and a Moonroof Package. Pricing for the 2015 Infiniti Q40 and Q40 AWD has not yet been released, but is expected to stay close to the current G37 models.
