Báhn- Mì (Vietnamese Sandwich) at Home

Redlands Family Photographer, Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich Recipe

The world has changed so much since the beginning of the year.  I had hopes of growing my photography business in a new town, but with the Covid pandemic I have found my interests have turned to food. I’ve always wanted to try out new recipes and cater them to my own palette and Bánh Mì  was one of those meals that I could never resist.

I  know in my last post I went on and on about Bánh Mì.  Well, here is the recipe on how to marinate the meat.  You can prepare it on either chicken or pork, but I like it with pork.  It’s a simple marinade and a total family pleaser.. it would be fun to serve at a party too where your guests can assemble their own sandwiches.

In my last post, I teach you how to make the baguette bread… which is über important to the perfect Bánh Mì sandwich. Traditional Bánh Mì is made with duck, liver or chicken pâté and well.. this is not for my taste buds, lol.  This recipe is more my speed and it’s very tasty! Let’s not forget the pickled carrots and daikon where you can find the recipe HERE.
