Her Madgesty has a long history with the Dolce & Gabbana boys, and according to the brand's online magazine, Swide, they chose her because, "As Dolce & Gabbana's spring/summer 2010 collection returned to the Italian roots of the brand, evoking its strong heritage and revisiting iconic pieces such as the corset (the designer's finale was composed solely of corsets) it seemed only fitting that Madonna, who embodies both the strong sensuality of the brand and who shares an Italian heritage with the designers should be the one to showcase the Sicilian inspired collection." The campaign was shot by Steven Klein in Brooklyn last week.

Madonna is definitely no stranger to the luxury brand ad campaign--she became the face of Louis Vuitton for both fall 2009 and spring 2010 when creative director Marc Jacobs saw her in concert, became obsessed, and sent her a Blackberry message asking if she'd like to jump in front of the camera for him.

What do you dolls think of Madonna as the face of Dolce & Gabbana? Are you amazed at how smoking hot she's stayed all of these years? Or is there no surprise that someone as iconic as Madge is still landing ad campaigns? Are you happy to see the brand stray away from 16-year-old models and instead embrace a real 50-year-old woman? Are you Madonna obsessed, like Marc Jacobs is? Discuss!
