Yummy it smells like a delicious Aperol Spritz, only this is better! For me this is the definition of unisex, I can imagine this on both myself and my boyfriend, I guess the skin will bring the difference here. Tried a sample, recently ordered the full bottle so I am expecting it to arrive soon

I'm in love with this fragrance. A true masterpiece of simplicity and smoothness between leather and jasmine notes. Of course, cardamom and amber notes are also noticeable, but the main play is between the high-quality refined leather feel and soft, buttery sweetness coming from the jasmine (which makes it lean toward unisex).
I never received a compliment that fast after purchasing and wearing a fragrance. This one makes me feel well put together and just good about myself. It lasts around 8-9 hours on my skin with strong projection in the first 2-3 hours. I bought a back-up bottle only a week after I purchased it, in fear of any future re-formulations.
Having said all of that, I can agree that the price is where it should be. 9/10 for me.

I want to love this so much... But I just have to accept that it's a mediocre dupe that reflects it's price. It just smells cheap. If you absolutely do not have the budget for anything else, then this is your dupe. If you actually appreciate the real DNA and mastery behind Baccarat Rouge 540, either buy the real thing or find a better blended dupe...

Like other people said, stronger better performing version of Byredo Bal D'Afrique, I also find it sightly more dense and thicker in a way. Is it overpriced? Absolutely! But I absolutely love it, I love the DNA, it performs much better than Bal D'Afrique, which I purchased second bottle off because of how much I have reapply, so all in all if you calculate how often and how much used of each, price might be even, or Hanuman might be just slightly more.
Also I am 100% always looking for more feminine fragrances and not a fan when men wear feminine leaning fragrances, just my personal opinion, but this one is really unisex, I wouldnt mind if my husband decided to wearing it too. I think its perfect balance and really work with skin chemistry. I would definitely not call it very feminine or masculine.
Is it worth selling your kidney for it? Absolutely not, no perfume is worthy your kidney, and I think Bal d'Afrique or even Al Rayhan both smell amazing as well, but if money is not an issue, give this one a try.

Don't believe the hype! Or believe it if you want. For someone who's familiar with middle eastern frags, this is too sweet, they should have left out the fruity notes out because this takes up 80% of the notes.

And besides, this needs to mascrate just like any other middle eastern frags. There's this middle eastern vibe that you can't rid off, no matter what.

And also, this will make you downvote me: the compliment getter thing is a hoax.

But hey, if this is your thing, then go for it, to each his own!

Rob1618
Armani Code Parfum

Rob1618

I bought this fragrance when it came out in 2022 because I'd owned the original Code and I love Iris. Initially I was disappointed. I thought that Code was a bit young for me anymore and wanted something with a bit more elegance and class with that same Code flavor. I wore it maybe twice in the first two or three months, then I put it up on the shelf over the winter and forgot about it. Spring of 2023 came along and I needed to add something to my rotation and saw Code Parfum laying forgotten in the back row of fragrances. When I applied for the first time in months I was a bit taken aback. This was not the Code Parfum that I'd remembered. I wore it to work that day and had a few people compliment me on how I smell. I began to apply it at least once a week and each time people would say something about how great it smelled.
Now it's a spring and summer dumb reach for me. It's definitely wearable in the cooler months but since I have so few hot weather fragrances that I enjoy I try to avoid it when it's cold. The iris is absolutely notable and the Code DNA sits right below it. As it dries down the brightness of the Iris fades but never goes away completely. The scent of the Original Code starts to strong arm it's way to the forefront not unpleasantly. If it weren't for the lingering Iris I wouldn't bother with it but the Iris is done so well. Overall, if you don't like it at first, give it another try after it's had time to sit. It may end up surprising you.

I got a 2.5ml sample a while back. I sprayed 5 sprays on my arm, and couldn't smell anything but alcohol. I hated it, and put it away.
For pure fun, I put it on again today. 2 sprays, on the arm. Now I get a whole lot of notes, and it truly is a great fragrance. It's not a powerhouse, by any means. But it's definitely letting its presence be known if you get close.

Of the skin, i get a fresh, spicy and aromatic scent. I can smell the clay note. It literally smells like a clay vase or a lump of raw clay. Very photorealistic. It does however, not push of the skin. I'm a little disappointed that I can't really detect the hazelnut.

Score: 7.5/10.
It is Very good, but not quite great. It Needs more projection and push for the price point. But the scent is familiar yet unique. Which is a hard thing to pull of. I'll keep using it for the warmer days of summer and will edit the post if anything changes.

Blind buy safe, but too expensive for a blind buy. Sample if possible.

Glyph
Jake's House

Glyph

A nice recreation of the scents of an orange grove clustered around a California outdoor swimming pool, with the neroli combining with the aquatic notes and the musk to suggest even the hint of chlorine. Neroli is a love-it-or-leave-it scent, but though this fragrance is heavy with it, this accord is very amenable to people like me who sometimes find it too austere as a floral.

amber987

amber987

I really wanted to like this perfume because it claimed to have amber, which sometimes is hard to find alone in a perfume without musk (I don’t like musk, it makes me nauseous). Sadly, I smelled it yesterday at the perfume store and it smelled like nothing I imagined.

It smelled at first like vanilla, but then turned into spices. After a while, it started to smell like candles (due to the sandalwood in my opinion).I don’t really smell the jasmine and whipped cream. It really didn’t have that amber smell like the perfume claims to be (quite surprising since in the ingredient list it is not even mentioned).

It is a beautiful perfume for the people out there that like warm spicy scents like in a candle during winter if I can say that. If you’re searching for amber don’t even bother, it doesn’t have a hint of amber. For me it’s a no.
2/10 because it’s not my vibe

Beast mode floral fruirty fragrance with strong sillage

Bronstet

Bronstet

* Superb gourmand blend of sweet, Cognac, black coffee, vanilla, amber and musk aromas
* Easily surpasses the original which in itself is also phenomenal by swapping Khamrah's cinnamon note for coffee
* Superb performance and strength
* Stunning presentation
* Unisex
* Niche fragrance for less than designer price
* Works in hot weather thanks to the black coffee note
* Has surpassed the much hyped and loved fragrance it was cloning to become its own unique much hyped and loved phenomenon

* Leans more on the masculine side for female users
* Not suitable for older users or those who dislike sweet fragrances
* Not subtle by any means
* May remind some of candy due to the praline and maple notes

Straight up, Khamrah Qahwa (which literally means coffee in Arabic), is absolutely phenomenal. It takes the same sweet, boozy Cognac, vanilla, amber and musk formula of the original and swaps out its key note of cinnamon for a much more grounded black coffee note (pun fully intended). The result is a superb flanker, both easily recognizable if you have the original but also different enough to stand out on its own and as someone who loves the original, I would argue this is way, way better. Some of the notes may come off smelling as praline candy to the nose which may turn off some. This is most definitely a gourmand fragrance, possibly the most gourmandish one I've ever had.

Performance is insanely good, with super strong projection, longevity and sillage. The presentation for the Khamrah line is stunning, easily the best Lattafa has every done, maybe only matched by the beautiful clear dome of Eternal Oud. It was designed to be displayed which you can see below and it looks great when doing so.

This is unisex but women should note that it leans quite a bit masculine, much more so than the original. This is not subtle in the least and is intended to bowl people over, so keep that in mind. It's not suitable for older more mature users (though Old Spice lovers may appreciate it) or those who dislike sweet fragrances. This makes the entire Paco Rabanne Invictus line smell like a sugar-free lollipop by comparison.

The most amazing thing about Khamrah Qahwa and the original Khamrah is that they were supposed to be clones of Killian's Angel's Share which is a much loved and hyped (and rightfully so) niche fragrance. Instead, they have become their own phenomenon unto themselves and are equally loved and hyped if not more so.

I've no doubt the high quality per dollar ratio has much to do with it. This is a superb high value QPR product which punches, far, FAR above its price point. It's a niche level fragrance for less than designer level price. If you enjoy gourmand fragrances, this is an absolute no brainer must buy. Highly recommended.

I had such high hopes for this but was severely let down. It smells like a really watered down Viva La Juicy. Not only is it boring and unoriginal, you can hardly smell anything! It's too bad because I actually love the bottle, I know everyone finds it tacky though lol.

If you like this fragrance, try Aldi Hotel Collection 03. Pomegranate. Very similar. For me I find both have a menthol note like Vics vaporub or Halls sore throat drops. Not my thing. Better appreciated from a distance as sillage, best in hot weather since the scent is chilly.

Still quite a realistic, high-quality rose, but gentler, easier to wear, a bit more "round".
Compared to Rose de Mai from the same brand, this is less overpowering and artichoke-y. Less raw, if you will.
The lemon and nutmeg bring out the natural fruity/spicy hints of damascus rose. However, they don't really read as separate notes.

I feel like the great lesson of Perris Montecarlo is that, in order to make and outstanding soliflore, you have not to make a soliflore.
The brand it very good at using different notes to enhance different aspects of the main ingredient, in order to have the realest rose/jasmine/whatever of them all.

All the negative YouTube reviews are so far off with this one. I’ve never quaffed the OG HR, so no biases here.

Zero cannabis. This is peaty-scotch, watered down with citrus and a touch of vanilla. The green notes are truly green. This reminds me of my grandfather and trip to Ireland as a boy - Fresh, brisk, green mornings with the smell of burning turf in the air.

This is sickeningly sweet. Reminiscent of candy with woods, and a hint of diaper underneath. Imagine walking on the hottest day of the year, thirstier than you’ve ever been, and the jasmine is blooming and you catch a whiff and want to hurl. That’s this.

An appetizing, almost buttery vanilla mingling with smoke creates a distinctive combination. Sweet gourmand notes are felt briefly, especially at the opening, then as they dry down, the scent focuses mainly on the smoke, which forms a noticeable base of the sillage.

PilouLeCanard

Oh this is like opening a can of fizzy drink, right down to a sense of the metalic. It’s gorgeous on first application then interestingly enough it’s evocative (but so much nicer) than the effect of the Acne/Malle collab. Those aldehydes are so busy I almost get a soapy steam along with the fizz.
Citrus but not simply peel or zest. It dries down pretty quick to a refreshing wear.
Daytime, summer for sure. Nobody could be offended as it does not project wildly and is clean and fresh but not cliched.
Yes it’s a 90’s vibe but also brilliantly abstract. If the price point is achievable I’d risk a blind buy if you are broad minded, love a synthetic. Very clever, very fun.

Not sure whether it was because I bought tester, I do not get any smell. I have shared this with my colleagues and they said the same. I saw fellows speaking very high about it, and I would not say anything bad about this cologne. However I would recommend everyone not to buy TESTER, at least for this. It's literally waste of money.

Like drowning in a sea of freshly picked roses, a fragrant menace ready to engulf you.

The smell is incredibly realistic, down to the vaguely artichoke-y hints that mark a high-quality, natural rose.
Geranium somewhat helps subduing the more unpleasant sides of rose smell (after few hours), but he's fighting a most unequal battle. He can't win. He can simply offer you a beautiful drydown, extending the freshness of the rose and avoiding that "expired rose water" smell that some rose scents get in the drydown.

This is undoubtedly a quality perfume, but you need to appreciate the real rose smell, not the "cosmetic" idea of a rose.

Symphony is such a smooth high quality scent! Everything is rounded off, none of the “sharpness” you’d normally expect from a citrus fragrance.

I particularly love that juicy grapefruit note. I can imagine dousing myself in this during the summertime and being the best smelling person ain’t any given venue 🤣.

Very feminine bottle but the actual scent is unisex in my opinion. Either way I’ll definitely be picking up a bottle at some point.

Less earthy and more sandalwoody(creamier and sweeter), TikTak Spearmint's take on GIT. It is less natural smelling but still very good. It's a nice fragrance, more similar to Cool Water than Green Irish Tweed. For some, this might be a better choice than Creed’s GIT

alphairone
Totally White 126

alphairone

As Totally White 126 lands on my skin, I immediately imagine how delicious a lilac-flavored vodka would be, perhaps blended with some St. Germain. A minute or so in, I am reminded of the more indolic, heady aroma of white lilacs as they bloom in profusion, among scores of other cultivars, at Arnold Arboretum in Boston. Then there is a wisteria accord that moves into the foreground to join the white lilacs. Wisteria is one of my favorite flowers and I've dreamed about growing them on my own grounds one day. Their smell is ethereal, reminiscent of jasmine, honeysuckle and concord grape, with mildly spicy clove undertones. Eventually here, the lilac and wisteria converge in a manner that elicits the firing of neurons in my brain that send the message: "I know this, I've smelled this before, and I love it." That sensation, that 'frisson,' is what captures me with this fragrance.

I also get the sensation of mock orange here, Philadelphus coronarius, in fine-milled soap form, and adjacent lily of the valley. The imagery I have is that of misty May mornings; wearing one's crisp and starched Sunday best; cottontails, red squirrels and chipmunks; marveling at the ephemera of spring. One thing I will say is that it saddens me that some immediately reach for functional fragrances in their brain when smelling even what is to me the most true-to-life spring florals: comparing them to baby wipes, Febreze, and the like. Scent associations are quite personal, and I wouldn't berate someone for "not smelling something correctly," as there is no truth in "correctly smelling" something. However, I do often wonder if our sense of wonder and imagination that suspends us in youth is often sapped away as time calcifies mindsets.

Maybe I should feel fortunate that I can derive the joy that I do in these perfumes, unlearning biases as best as I can and leaning into the fantasies and myths of life. Anyhow, Totally White 126 may very well be a delight for those who open themselves up to its concept.

Fecabe2023

This is an aromatic dominant fragrance highlighting Mint and Ivy, woody and balsamic with light Smoky touches of myrrh predominantly providing an extremely warm, long lasting resinous background, supporting role in the base that holds together all of this olfactory depiction scenario of a sunny day on a Beach hut next to an wilderness park whereas the growth nearby are residing across the area. I wouldn't label this as a fougere nor a oriental style. This is an uniquely artistic depiction of the painted scenario I mentioned above.

i've never had Tom Ford Noir de Noir so can't compare, but Armaf Club de Nuit intense has got weird vibe to it. As if i can smell something rotten and sour in it. Also poor performance i spray on skin and clothes and hair, and it doesn't hold.

I am quite surprised that no one has mentioned how this is similar to Eternal Magnolia from Zara or Georgous Gardenia from Gucci.

I would say that this one could be a nice sister of Gucci Georgous Gardenia and Eternal Magnolia with a hint of chocolate sweetness, especially on the drydown.

I don’t know about Pink flambé as I havent tried it yet but I wouldn’t be surprised as Zara loves to make dupes of their own perfumes and rebrand them lol

However, it smells really good for spring/summer time 🌸

I appreciate the uniqueness and originality of this fragrance, but to me personally, this combination of pistachio, olive tree and citruses reminds me of a seasoning I often use in summer in my salads, pasta and fish dishes (olive oil, lemon juice and grounded pistachios). As delicious as it is, I don' t want to smell like a salad..... Of course, not everybody will make this association, and I see that this perfume can be very nice and refreshing in summer and definitely quite unique.

I get the comparisons to Aventus and its clones. But this is more a cousin of Aventus, not a twin. The opening is most reminiscent of Aventus with that bright familiar pop. But during the dry down, this is a more green-tinged fragrance than the original and the close clones and I don't get any of that smoky birch tar. That being said, I have a decant of Aventus and a full bottle of CDNIM Parfum, and this scratches the same itch so probably won't get a full bottle. Really nice composition though.

Huge bergamot opening, and very subtle iris and leather. Barely there if you ask me and goes in a moment. I remember this having a lot more oomph...Feels like a good resinous citrus for the most part, which is great, but for something called iris prima, I was expecting a lot more iris and leather. Nice prominent pink pepper and benzoin though.

Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar is one of Kayali's BEST fragrances. Follow me as I take you on a journey from the first spray to the dry down. First, as soon as I sprayed it I immediately smelled candied pear, bubblegum and marshmallow. Now, in the spirit of transparency, I must admit that it smells EXACTLY like Jean Paul Gautier's LaBelle, but less harsh and polarizing. Is it a dupe? Quite possibly, but truthfully, VCRS smells like a combination of LaBelle, Flowerbomb and Moschino's Bubble Gum. The drydown is sexy, unique and long lasting and I fully intend on purchasing the 50ml as soon as its available again! Mona girrrrl, you have another hit!

A very lovely fresh scent but just like a reviewer below mentioned, it doesn’t last long projection wise. It’s very intimate but does last long on skin and clothes. Glad I was able to snag a bottle for a good price before it got discontinued. This is really a classy Spring/Summer gentlemanly scent! A little more mature, so I'm not sure the younger crowd will appreciate this. I've been very impressed and happy with everything I've gotten my nose on from Cartier and this is no exception. Well done (as usual) Cartier!

Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42

This isn't a candy-sweet fragrance in my opinion, the comparison to JPG La Belle is very accurate, as someone who recently reviewed that one, the similarity upon initial spray is unbelievable.

When I over-sprayed this I got the bubblegum note, with the rum running through in the background as it transformed (Quite Quickly) to a juicy pear. As it dries down it becomes a little less like La Belle which stays predominantly (at least on me) pear, and in comes the patchouli with the Jasmine... quite floral, still with the undercurrent of Rum. Im wondering if the Rum is what people are comparing to nail varnish remover? it is very strong in a similar way to Yum Pistachio in the beginning.

The dry down after 10 or so minutes leaves a soft vanilla... a hint of florals but very close to the skin, the rum has disappeared by this stage for the most part and whats left is a sugary vanilla scent. The sillage on this isn't great, it definitely needs over spraying and I suspect I'll get through this (50ml) bottle quite quickly!

I am enjoying this fragrance, and look forward to layering it with Sparkling Lychee.... and perhaps even Yum pistachio. I don't think this is what it was advertised as, I was expecting a Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum type fragrance with the ever-present patchouli which thankfully I don't mind, but I know alot of people hate, and instead, I got a La Belle-A-Like.

Would highly recommend trying this in store before buying, or buying a small decant.

A lush classy osmanthus paired with rose and old-school resins and spices, released in 2014, because why not? There's always the need for a neo vintage. I gifted one to my mother a couple of years ago and every time I visit her, it's macerated a bit, getting more and more "classical" every time. Then I realize - accords like this are supposed to get better with time because why not? Fashion used to be slower.

I can understand the comparison to Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, however (and it looks like I'm in the minority with this opinion...) I think the Diptyque is so much better. Aphelie opens with a blast of rose, cassis buds, and oakmoss--it's the oakmoss that bothers me so much. IMO, the oakmoss also gives it a bit of a vintage/dated vibe (not a bad thing). The opening is dry, bitter, and green; I'm not a fan at all a fan of the opening. It does become quite nice after about the first 20-30 minutes as the oakmoss dissipates, and the rose and tart berries take center stage...it also feels like there is pink pepper in here. The performance on this is outstanding- nice projection and lasts all day.

I bought a 100ml bottle and it's gone after 1 year. This was my signature scent for a long time and what can I say, this mf is the most versatile affordable fragrance for teens,it's mix of fresh citrus and floral scent and after some time it turns into a sweet vanilla scent ,if I have to describe this is literally sex in a bottle. The most predominant note after you spray will be a slight rose mixed with orange.I recommend this 100%,it's a safe blind buy, maybe some people don't like it at first, but please just give it some time, you will see,a perfume won't perform it's best at first (depends on the batch)and will need to let it macerate, but after some time you will enjoy and love it You just have to use it normally and after at least 1 month you will see that it will be a beast, this is not only for this,it's for almost every fragrance. For me it's very good for the price it has and will be one of the perfumes that I will recommend almost everytime , especially for someone that just started collecting fragrances. The batch that I had was a beast and didn't really need time for maceration.

To me it doesn't smell nothing like BR540. Sweet vanilla whipped cream/marshmallow. Quite generic and synthetic. Reminded me of Sol de janero or one of "So...?" body mists. Maybe i need to give it time to macerate. Also doesn't perform well, but once again maybe need to wait for couple of weeks for it to get better. I don't think i would recommend

So, I got this perfume when it came out on Skylar's monthly subscription, then they released as part of their line . It has beautiful layers of aquatic/clean top notes, then settles down to a beautiful sugary, fluffy, and amber scent. The base is the most gorgeous cotton candy fragrance I own, and I won't be looking for another. This fragrance is different from any other, and I will repurchase!

I've had it for about 5 days and not that impressed to be honest, maybe it needs mascerating, so I've sprayed like 10 regular sprays and 10 upside down sprays, now its stored in a cabinet with the cap on. The longevity is not there at all, it barely projecting even when newly sprayed on. The smell is also not that close to Sedley, which I smelled in a fragrance store and fell in love with, so I thought let me try out Maahir Legacy, everyone been hyping it up. I would give it a 6/10 right now. I would probably bump it up to a solid 8/10 if – and it’s a very big if – the performance improves drastically.

This stuff is fantastic. Going into it, before testing this and the Intense version several times, I read and or watched (as I often do, it can be fun to research) as much as I could to see what others subjective opinions were. What I gleaned was that some people erringly (and somewhat unfairly) place this in the 'aventus-sphere', which is a lazy oversimplification of the genre. I have an extreme dislike for aventus. I've sampled it. It disagrees with me. Pineapple to birch? So you go from teenager on first spray to old man in drydown. Whatever. I did try CDNIM, which was an absolute waste of $25. So with that out of the way, my other finding of Cedrat Boise is that many want to make this out to be fresher than I believe it was concocted to be. This stuff is great! Like the fruit it is derived from, there is little juiciness, but rather a dry, more bitter-leaning and sharper citrus note. It is a 'dirty' citrus, with woodiness. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less. The Intense version is dirty citrus, with woods and a touch of light animalic funk. I like that one too, but prefer the versatility of this OG much more. This in no way resembles aventus at all (thankfully). In the air, it is devastatingly good. So good, in fact, that long after I went nose blind to it (no doubt from the synthetics) I was getting positive reactions from random folks as I went about my day. (I try not to use the 'C' word if I can). Ordered a full bottle after using up my 5ml. I assume I'll get the magnetic cap, so I will update LSP down the road. Every fragrance will have its detractors. It is a subjective niche. But you wouldn't be reading my crummy review if you weren't at least slightly interested in the fragrance. Sample it, give it a few wears before making a judgement. Just don't write it off because of aventus comparisons, as you might like this even if you don't like aventus. Just my opinion.

I understand the hype about this fragrance. It smells really, really good, and the bottle is of good quality too. Plus, I like the bottle design too; it's one of the best "clone" bottle.
I had to pay ~$40 for 100 ml; I had no cheaper option. If I am not viewing it as a "clone" fragrance, then that is a very good price for what you get. Even as a clone, it's a good price, although I would be happier with around $25-30.

@Domnul_Paris i would not stress to much about it if you want it because of Fahrenheit comparison. I had this one and i really hated how it smells, and i like Fahrenheit. Don't mind the other person beneth, very few people would want to smell like this, believe me.
I find it to be obnoxious, cloying (no matter what weather), sudden headaches inducing. I also find it to not be near Fahrenheit, while Fahrenheit has a barbershop feel to it, this one does not, is not fresh ider and has a smoky dark feel to it, while i like smokey, i do not like this smoke here. For me was one of the worse fragrances i blind bought.
Original? Yes pleasent, not really. Nobody around me liked it, almost nobody besides one person wanted it, not even for free. The guy i gave it to is not passionate about Fragrances and he also did not really like it, he just did not found it that bad as i did and, hack, was free. Maybe there are some fragrance snobs that like it, but that's about it. For all others there are better fragrances to spend their money on.

Tried just once on myself from a tester today, and it is really lovely, toned down vetiver, that is not used with a heavy hand in a nose hair-searing off amount, unlike the screechy Hermes' Eau Intense Vetiver or, God forbid, the Lalique's Encre Noire, which are both too vetivery for me, to the point of being unbearable to wear. Narciso's concoction is nothing like these, and I have no notes or criticism, really. It's just a lovely blended unique unisex fragrance, I would say, that is a fresh, fougere-ish blend with the right amount of balsamic sweetness, that I will definitely come back to to explore more...

What people are saying is incense/pepper is coming across as ambroxan/cetalox to me. It stays the whole time. Underneath is some iris and something smooth and sweet. I get no powder. Got a sample and it’s very heavy on the orange blossom, too much for my taste. It’s very sweet and I like sweet fragrances but this is too much for me and nothing particularly special. It’s just okay. I mostly get A LOT of orange blossom and almond. Would have been better for me if it had more depth. Wears pretty linear and has good projection and longevity.

If you’re lookin for this in the US, you can find it at FRMODA - they ship to the US for $24 or just wait a bit and I’m sure Beverly Hills Perfumery and or D’or perfumes will get it at some point.

Indeed, this smells like a sorceress. It's mystical, warm, musty and dark. The opening smells like a sweet wine, with a hint of vanilla shining through. This slowly settles into an intoxicating warm, balsamic and ambery scent. Acrasia is an experience that I can't get enough of.

I really like this one... but...
I was looking for another fresh citrus-forward scent, as a change from Neroli Portofino, which I've worn for years. While this does have a hint of citrus, it's definitely more like pencil shavings (from the cedar) with notes of gardenia and bergamot in the background. It's staying in my collection, but won't be the one I'm bringing to travel around Italy this summer. While not a heavy scent, per se, it's far too much for the heat and humidity.

I love this fragrance,at first it's somehow spicy fresh, after it's the sexiest caramel toffee pudding scent you can smell. For me at first I was confused because i didn't really smelled it after a few hours, maybe because I got nose blind. Now it's a perfect date/winter/evening fragrance that last's a really long time.I got a 50 ml because it was discounted and after 1 month I am almost at half.I really enjoy this fragrance I will definitely buy it again for it's smell and performance, especially that my clothes still smell after 3 days if I put them in the closet. After I bought this fragrance my room turned into a toffee magical domain.I can't imagine how people can't like this fragrance, maybe for someone it's to sweet but for me it's a well balanced tofee cake scent that has a little spice .

A little hint of citrus in the opening but fades away after 10mins, than its full on coconut and musky - giving a suntan lotion vibe. Absolutely unisex and even feminine leaning if you ask me. Altogether a nice, sunmertime, beachy scent.

Vanilla with vetiver and patchouli. I love the resulting "Dirty Vanilla" accord - a dirt and greens vanilla with a hint of herbal spiciness. What you spray is what you get for the entire wear, and it remains pretty consistent across wearings.
If I was a signature scent type of gal, I could easily see this being a signature.
Predictable, easy to wear, I don't have to think about it too hard, and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

There are perfumes that try to replicate a certain scent. They might smell like oranges and lemons, like coffee and sweet tartlets, they might smell like a bouquet of flowers or like rain on the pavement. Then there are perfumes that try to recreate certain images and ideas - the Replica line comes to mind here, for instance. And then there are perfumes that are so inherently 'perfumy', they are hard to describe in any other way than just "this is a perfume". Beige definitely is in that latter category. It is very much a perfume first and foremost.

Individually, Beige is floral and slightly sweet. It's makeupy and creamy. It's powdery and a bit soapy. The yellow and white florals get accentuated by the sweet honey note that tones them down and makes them very elegant - and I say that as someone who frequently struggles with florals. It's elegant in all the best ways. And it remains that way for quite a long time.

While Beige doesn't really develop in major ways, the honey and florals do play with each other nicely and on my skin. Sometimes the honey was more present, sometimes the florals made their way in front. But all the time, the elegant, creamy baseline remained on me. It felt sophisticated all throughout.

Spraying it on my partner, however, was less pleasant. On her skin, the honey was far more dominant throughout and that made the perfume much less elegant and sophisticated. While the honey didn't quite go as far as, for instance, Guerlains Tobacco Honey goes, it was still a very dominant note in the whole experience and took away from the elegance that the perfume otherwise had, which was disappointing to notice.

Overall though, assuming the honey keeps itself in check a little more, Beige is a perfume that I would love to smell on someone in more upscale social situations. It's not necessarily for me - I don't think floral perfumes suit me very well - but I can absolutely see myself enjoying the smell tremendously on someone else. It leans femme, but I can see men rocking it just as well. Ironically, I immediately associate it with a bright suit. Probably because of the name, to be fair.

It lasted for around 6 hours on my skin and was enjoyable throughout. Clean, elegant, enjoyable, floral, slightly sweet, sophisticated, creamy, makeupy. I like it far more than I ever liked any "perfumy"-perfume before. Strong recommendation, even if I definitely recommend sampling it, due to my experience with my partner's skin.

I totally get cherry, the lactonic notes and of course powder but the most refined luxury powder. It’s very easy to wear, lasts all day, and with over 200 bottles this is my first huge compliment getter. The cherry does fade and it dries sweet and powdery.

I love this brand. I could wear coffee addict fall/winter and this the rest of the time. I won’t of course because, like you, I am a compulsive perfume addict, but for this quality and price you’ll be hard pressed to find better. The last 4 releases are fire!🔥

It’s something between Xerjoff Renaissance and Guerlain Homme..or Homme l’eau more like..a bit like a modern eau Sauvage too.Fantastic opening, for this price point you can’t get a more photorealistic citrus mix and great dry down too actually but very weak.. if you can find it for cheap it’s worth it as you can just spray more and more often, otherwise go with Xerjoff Renaissance if you have the money or with Guerlain Homme EDP if you want something more bitter elegant and mature. I get more lime than orange and also some mint..maybe geranium and I get no basil whatsoever..Anyway it super clean and natural smelling and just perfect to spray on after a shower in the summer heat..should be talked about more.

I received the '68 travel pack as a birthday present last year after I suggested to one of my mates that it was a nice scent. I now keep the mini spray in my bag at all times and I love it.
It's such a cute girly scent and gives such a sweet beachy vibe ! Definitely my favourite Sol De Janeiro scent and so so perfect for the summer vibes. For me, it last quite long considering its a mist.
Unfortunately, the prices for this spray, and the others that Sol De Janeiro sells, have gone up due to popularity so it is kind of becoming a bit pricey for a body mist, especially for a small amount. On the bright side, the mini travel sized one I received on my birthday, October last year, has last me a pretty good time given I use it around twice a week after my sport lessons.
Not sure if i will re-purchase after it runs out yet?

Hermessence Cedre Sambac
(Store test, skin test - test start 18.00 hrs.)

I really like Cedre Smbac, high-class and etherial.
Maybe most minimal and blanc as I have ever tried.
(Yes this surpass, Jasmin from Guerlain and Lancome) I am on verge of Jasmin era. Anything Jasmin with catch my attention.

First 30 mins, is the most beautiful part of scent realistic composition of jasmine. Seriously, encapsulated all elegant of Jasmin slight indolic, slight wet, slight green hue. It is most true as Jasmin can be.. but

When it hit 2nd stage all the beautiful from Jasmin crush and turn into equal part of cedre and Jasmin.
The cedre in this, might not be true interpretation of cedre in nature, it is not raw, almost no balsumic. It smells almost like processed industrial wood but for audience of Hermessense. I think this remains most true to audiance.

After that it was a stage show, between Cedre and Jasmine. Clean powdery - almost soapy. It is somewhat keep me entertain, I happy catch a whip of fine cedre and beautiful jasmine from time to time. It keep show interchangeably in a good way.

It is 2 hours post wear and it is still fairy strong of my skin. I would agree that this carried on Hermesense’s DNA the etherealness stay there, blanc & light still there. Ms. Nagel truly proof that she is right candidate for Hermes’ perfumery.

But I can notice the difference between scent from Mr.JCE & Ms. Nagel distinguishably. Being Ms. Nagel shows the blend vividly like 4k HDTV you could smell and easy to determine the material component presented in the scent while Mr.JCE blends more like dreamy artwork from oil paint, merge in overall appearance but hi-res in inside details and the deepest scent of JCE’s work I can almost sniff skin’s scent. Like a scent dancing on the skin instead being part of, and that’s characteristic of JCE’s work that hard to replica.

Jasmin Sambac is good, truly good.
But the 2nd part of its life just didn’t wow me.
It is ok to own sure and it hard to find something similar.. but.. I find the story telling.. is a bit difference. I can’t ensure yet.

Olfactive crash into powdery woody with white floral nuance, 3.30 hrs. Post wear, cut off from list.

I have owned this for awhile now and tried wearing it many times in different weather as well as applying it both with a lighter and heavier touch and I just can’t get past the persistent green note in it.

I’m surprised no one is mentioning that green vines or thorns or stems I’m getting. It’s not a realistic green that enhances the overall composition though and it leans cat pee-ish to my nose.

The pepper note just makes it smell like fruit scented spicy cat pee. It’s also giving a slight mentholated effect muddled in there. I just am never going to enjoy this one unfortunately.

I am selling this for anyone interested. I’ve got a bottle about 80 percent full for anyone interested in sale or swap, message me here.

I first tried it out when one of my mates sprayed it. It smelt absolutely gorgeous so of course I asked for some as well and of course she said yes. I sprayed some on and immediately fell in love. At first it smells like stale coffee beans, then it smells like VB beer mixed with red wine. I waited for the dry down and it still smells like beer mixed with wine. Smells unisex. Wasn't for me. AMOUAGE Bracken
Karine Vinchon Spehner and Dorothée Piot 2016
I don’t know any other brand which manages to capture so many different kind of scenes from my childhood than Amouage - this time with wild berries, Fern and leather together with Chamomile, Narcissus and Lily. It’s like a walking in the forest full of ferns and carrying a basket full of freshly picked berries. It has been raining. I move the ferns in front of me with my other hand while walking, causing the drops to fly on my face. The sun comes out from behind the clouds, the forest opens up into a meadow as the scent of herbal yet not dry Chamomile wafts up to your nose.

Fern means Fougère which is an entire category of fragrances. This is not Fougère scent though. Most ferns has very delicate yet distinctive scent. It’s like clean and bitter green aroma, very unique one and very beautiful imo. I do remember as well the scent which may mostly be noticeable when you rub very dry leaves in your hands and it smells just like fresh mown hay. This is not the latter one. Wild berries are not light, bright, sweet and girly ones, they are mellow, deep, very Amouage - not cloying nor synthetic. The whole blend is unforgettable, absolutely stunning and amazingly realistic with an aromatic feel.

This unusual scent is unisex and it can perform very differently. On my skin the scent is like described. On my husband’s skin the leather is more noticeable with added woody twist from base. The green note is bold and it may be too much for some.

I don't even know how long I've had this for (years, for sure), but I've just now fallen completely in love with it. I have a HUGE collection and much to choose from, but this is one of those scents that are simple and beautiful for everyday, but I'm still excited to wear every time. This is clean and sweet and airy. Pear candy with a fresh, but sweet vanilla. Very similar to Ari, but better imo, as this does not have the screechy synthetic aspect of Ari. This layered with B&BW Pink Chiffon is tooooo good.

From all the 5 scents i think this one lasts pretty long. To me it wasnt the best one from all 5 scents, but it smells pretty nice

This is such an underrated fragrance! It’s a quite sharp floral at first but than it gets super cozy and the honey is delightful. I even had a customer at work complimented me on it earlier today. This is for sure my summer scent 2024!

Gosh this is pure headache for me.
The first spray is quite fresh the bergamot is strong and you would think the scent would be okay, but after a few minutes completely disappears and turns into a nauseating screechy sweet coconut cashmere scent.

Definitely not a refreshing citrus and not for summer. It is a heavy coconut whipped cream in itself.

A spicy, woody, natural, refreshing, calm, sensual, casual, mature, well blended fragrance that can up lift your spirit & others around you. This fragrance is a crowd pleaser, an attention grabber, & a panty dropper. Even if you don't receive any compliments. Trust me when I say this "Women will stand more closer to you & look in your direction more. This smell amazing on damped rainy days.

The longevity is okay. I usually layer my cologne with essential oils that are inspired by the fragrance itself to get the performance that I truly desire without having to keep overspraying.

Even though this is unisex. I find this to be leaning more on the masculine side. I honesty wouldn't perfer a woman to smell like this. This definitely have that gentleman aura touch to it. This doesn't smell macho- manish either.

I would only reach for this.

1)Spring/Summer.
2)Daytime.
3)Outdoor activities.
4)Hanging with the fellas.
5)Happy Hour.
6)Dressing casual.
7)Job/Office.
8)Hanging with women over 35.

I wouldn't necessarily reach for this.

1)Going clubbing/Partying atmosphere.
2)Attending a formal event.
3)Fall/Winter.
4)Dressing down or sophisticated.
5)Hanging with women younger than 35 years old.

This smells nothing like vanilla it has an after taste of cheap perfumery. Similar aftersmell to Ultramale
on my skin. So much pepper it feels like im smelling caramel sugar with an entire bottle of pepper mixed in.

Not my cup of tea.

I gave this a smell recently in my local Boots, not sure what I was expecting but lemony cleaning products weren't it! I kept waiting for a nice dry down but the lemon bathroom cleaner seemed to subside into.. well the smell of an ice lolly stick... you know, the little wooden ones.

Each to their own, I know there are people out there who will love this, unfortunately, I'm not one of them, it just didn't vibe with my skin I guess!

The bottle is really nice though!

unfortunately one of SA's rare misses. but i find it funny that there's an air freshener version of this. for people who haven't smelled, it's like gathering sewage water and spraying it like febreze lol

Super simple perfume. It feels like one note. Super sweet. slightly juicy. Smells like what women think a man-fruit would smell like. Smells like a sweet womans perfume.

Not mindblowing. Kinda soft, but enjoyable.

Yes it is ethereal, yes it is feminine, soft and delicate, but the longevity and sillage is really poor for this price range. I love the scent, so I'm overspraying it to its bones!

I was fascinated with Black Phantom a couple of months ago, and I saw this in the 'remind me' section and thought of testing it and I'm glad I did...

Orchid Leather is a reminder and it's close, especially in the dry-down brighter with a fresher opening, which makes it more masculine and more versatile in my opinion... It has in the background the same chocolaty, coffee-ish vibe that exist in Black Phantom but not as dark, creamy and silky like BP... I wonder what mix of notes gives that scent, considering it's a fruity fragrance with no coffee or chocolate listed in its notes!

I think Orchid Leather and black phantom share the same unique beauty in a big share of the fragrance body, 50%+ I would say... and orchid Leather has a very good longevity 8+ hours.

I'm also familiar with Wafaa by Ard Al Zafaraan, which is VERY close to Black Phantom if you skip the first weird 5 minutes... Wafaa is very strange in the opening but after the 5 minutes mark of spraying it's very similar and surprisingly smooth, not smelling cheap whatsoever, although it's way cheaper than both BO and Black Phantom!

Orchid Leather $100 70ml scent 9/10 - price 8/10
Black Phantom $300 50ml 9.5/10 - price 3/10
Wafaa $15 100ml scent 7.5/10 - price 10/10

It's nice how a rich man, middle-class man, or broke man, all can enjoy this beautiful scent type... somehow /partially 👍

Okay, so I've had this for a year or so now, I was sucked in by the cute packaging and the sickly sweet scent description.

The opening of this is... well, a bit like rot or something, I can't put my finger on it but I know not to inhale for the first 20 seconds or so of putting this on. After the initial gross smell, it starts to come into its own as a... bubblegummy... Rose Jam sort of scent, It then dries down after about 20 minutes to a peachy musk, that's the best description I can make for the dry down.

I do like it overall, It is hard work though!

Its not a fragrance for everyone, It only lasts a couple of hours and I'd say it isn't a safe bet for work. Not a safe blind buy either.

SereneSoleil2819
Zukhruf Pink

SereneSoleil2819

Smells like an expensive fruity, creamy hair care product in the beginning and powdery sweet sandalwood in the dry down. The almond milk note is very prominent the whole time. Super feminine, super pretty, inoffensive and perfect for spring. It lasts about 5 hours, with moderate projection. The packaging is fabulous for this price.

Bought a sample after I had tried Tom Ford's Cherry Smoke in a duty free shop at the airport. This one is waaay to leathery/smokey, in a bad way, and too little cherry. I threw the sample away because I can't stand this smell.

Scentrifuge
Illicit

Scentrifuge

Ignore the name -- this isn't illicit. It's like a cup of tea with ginger and honey. The orange blossom and amber add coziness. It's a little bit retro but light, so it's office-safe. Actually, maybe that's what's illicit about it: sneaking perfume into scent-free spaces. It's also longlasting, which is a pleasant surprise. Perfect for rainy spring days, and will be lovely in the fall, too. Definitely a good get for $22.

This is a superb male fragrance, earthy, yet slightly green, raw yet not without soft edges. This is a hot, mature man. It's a man who has good taste and is refined but is also connected with his athleticism. One of the best man perfumes I've ever smelled.

This is the shit. Straight up. It does everything you need in a spicy balsamic fragrance and more. Not too sweet, not too dry.

Undoubtedly masculine, though any woman could pull this off with confidence. From the jump its a masterpiece, popping and evolving into pure bliss. Any serious person who compares this to Spicebomb is surely looking only for a reference, not genuinely acknowledging the quality 1899 exudes. There is no noticeable synthetic nature to Hemingway in the way that Spicebomb carries itself. All notes feel balanced in clarity and authenticity

As the name suggests, 1899 is a legendary fragrance, and anyone in proximity of the arms length sillage will agree. 10/10

The Soft Lawn: Edition 2.0

I find Soft lawn to be more rubbery than green. I really don’t like the first spray on skin just smells bad but, I wore it throughout the day and the green notes feel perfect for Spring/Summer weather, once the dry down came in play much better in my opinion.

Straight up smells like very salty cucumbers on me, maybe that's the kumquat? Over time the lavender, jasmine, and a mild woods emerge. I do not find this very smoky or woody and I think it's femme leaning unisex. Not my kind of scent personally, but it's very unique. A 'wet' fruity-floral summer night scent.

#665 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

The best price on this is from GiftExpress at $56. Don't do that. It's a clone of MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, not the extrait (The extrait adds an almond note this doesn't have. The "it smells like" section was scored by people who apparently can't read the notes).

It's easy to confuse all the Baccarat clones. We have so many to choose from. Alhambra's Barouque Rouge 540 (BR540 clone) Barouque Rouge Extrait (Extrait clone). Al Haramain's Amber Oud Ruby (Extrait clone) and Amber Oud Rouge (BR540 clone). Orientica Amber Rouge (BR540 clone), Exclusif Oud Rouge (a more gourmand take on BR540). We could probably add four or five others that are in this same ballpark. Someone thought of Guess Seductive Red, which is more floral, fruity, spicy and feminine and only EDT in strength. It's priced at $23 (The men's version of Seductive Red is a completely different scent).

Of all of the above I think the Alhambra Baroque Rouge 540 and Extrait come very close to the originals, and they're priced under $20 at Jomashop. This Jo Milano version isn't bad, I just think, "Why would I pay $55-$75 dollars for a clone I can get for $17?"

Just like the original Baccarats there's everything to like in this scent and nothing to dislike. I've yet to encounter a jasmine scent I didn't think is nice. Car pool, elevator and office safe, but definitely feminine leaning. Acceptable performance overall.

My husband got it, he is a huge MMA fan, so I guess this one was a must for him. Initially it was rather surprising, than good, but with time I grew to love this one. Beyond unique, aromatic scent, it is definitely not for everyone, however it was real shocking that after the initial herby opening, it gradually turns into sweeter and sweeter. I hope he will be using this for a long time cause I am literally addicted to it 🥰

yummy! But not a gourmand, more like eating dates while walking through a blossoming garden
I also got something fresh and citrusy right upon spraying, the spices on top give it nice freshness
very original composition, can't find anything to compare it with
for me it's not overly sweet although I do not wear gourmands and do not like sweet florals
it's spicy-sweet, edible but aromatic at the same time

This is..just OK. Its a floral vanilla scent and the vanilla is very very light. First sniff is citrus heavy, then dries down to the lightest vanilla. The longevity is poor also. Its a day time safe vanilla, not too sweet or heavy so if you like floral/vanilla mix this will be perfect. I, personally, prefer my vanilla scents with much more depth and much sweeter. It is not enough of a like for me to purchase a full bottle.

Ugh... I am so glad I buy samples. I love Bianco Latte, and expected Bora Bora to be a coconutty floral/gourmand. Nope, its hideous. It smells like old lady perfume mixed with bathroom cleaner. I love white floral scents, and Ylang Ylang is usually beautiful, but this is a no-go for me. I don't smell any coconut, amber or vanilla in the dry down...just pure potpourri. Effin YUCK. Good thing is this stuff is long-lasting but not good when you can't stand the smell!

I ordered Whoosh and received some samples, like this one, and honestly I am highly considering to buy this one too, especially now that summer fast approaching. I will subtly try to signal this towards my husband, and hopefully he will surprise me hehe 😍

This is something my Uncle who goes through a pack of cigarettes a day and drives a big jeep would wear. Extremely masculine, fresh, sharp and green are the ideas that jump at me at the opening.

I don’t get the winter votes at all if i’m being honest, this is really versatile to me and maybe even more suited for spring? The green and ozonic notes don’t make this a perfect choice for winter, instead i would say it’s vesrsatile
