Besides the voice actor’s testimony, there are various hints scattered throughout the game that solidify Zelda’s feelings for Link. One can find such a hint in Zelda’s house in Hateno Village, previously it was Link’s house in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Inside the house, players will come across two chairs and plates set at the table, as well as a bed that Link can sleep in, strongly implying that they share a home and a bed together.

Also, Zelda has a hidden well behind her house where she keeps Link’s hair tie between games. In her journal, which is stored in the well, she writes about Link and mentions that he “remains at my side.” However, it is worth noting that this romantic relationship is never officially confirmed through in-game dialogue. The connection between Zelda and Link is left for the players to piece together and interpret on their own.
