This model has been around for a long time for good reason! It is very quality. The horses are beautifully sculpted and posed. They are the reason I bought the model. They give such extra excitement and realism to the model. I love the old TV 50's westerns. I wish there was more stuff available in this scale and 1/12th and 1/9 scales as far as westerns are concerned. After buying this model, I went looking for more horses in this scale, and could not find any. Why not? Overall pretty good. The seams on the hoarses are a little to be desired and there are only two casts used on the hoarses, meaning 2 of the 4 are in one pose, and the and the other 2of 4 are another pose. Figures are one solid cast peice each, makes them a bit more sturdy

I just received this in the mail and it is BIG! ( Over 2 feet long when completed! ) It will take a while to put together with loads of pieces but I have seen pictures of the completed model and it is impressive. Not for small kids… more experienced modelers only. If you want a challenge and love the “Old West,” this is the kit for you!
