MainStage Academy of Dance brings 'Dracula' to life at Oconomowoc Arts Center 🧛

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- MainStage Academy of Dance is set to return to the Oconomowoc Arts Center with its fourth production of "Dracula," a ballet adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel.

The performances are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6, Saturday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 8.

Artistic director Eddy Bray oversees the production, which features approximately 30 dancers and special appearances by professionals from the Madison Ballet Company.

"We're putting together a very collaborative, first-class production with professional ballet artists and MainStage students," said Bray in a press release announcing the performance. He added that the production explores deeper into Dracula's backstory.

The show includes a classical musical score and intricate set designs, alongside a cast that includes professional dancers Alex Vrba, Lauren Thompson, Benjamin Shepard and Michaela King.

Tickets are priced at $28 for adults and $24 for youth ages 8 to 19, with the show being deemed appropriate for audiences aged 8 and older.
