After fiddling with my old pot liners and tricking the system with the “aluminum donut” trick I found out on YouTube, I decided to just buy a new one.
The problem was, I used my liners in the stove or on the Sautee setting.
NEVER DO THAT!
I didn’t know it ruins the shape of the pan and then the instapot doesn’t recognize it and gives you a C8 warning. Then you have to cut circles out of aluminum and makes holes in those circles in order to trick the machine.
BUT! The aluminum donut ceased working. So I just gave up and bought a new one- wrote “NO STOVE” on one of the handles, and it’s been perfect.

I wanted to have an extra pot for my 6qt Instant Pot in case I needed to store cooked food in it - I never seem to have the right size storage containers for stews and soups and you know they are always better after sitting overnight. This pot fits the bill, replacing one I purchased earlier that was supposed to fit my Instant Pot but the IP kept giving a "wrong Pot" message. It's sturdy, easy to clean and doesn't dent easily or stain.

I started using my instant pot to make iced tea. Tea stains the pot, and everything else (sealing ring, my counter top.) So I'm happy I got the second pot to cook in. Your instant pot doesn't need to be tied up while something is cooling or being cleaned. I drink a lot of iced tea everyday (at least 3 quarts.) A 6qt instant pot yields 4 quarts of tea. So my instant pot is constantly in use. My recipe for iced tea is 4.5 quarts of water; 4 regular black tea bags; 1 bag of ginger & tumeric tea; 1/3 cup sugar; lemon juice to taste. 4 or 5 minutes under high pressure.

The second I ordered my Instant Pot I knew I want another pot - for when I am cooking the soup, for example, that I can cook rice or meat or (anything) the second I put out the first pot. Highly recommending to anyone to have two pots.
