WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has shared his honest thoughts on Bron Breakker not wrestling with the Steiner name.
While Breakker has made a name for himself as a dominant rising star, he has done without using his family’s famous in-ring surname.
While Bron Breakker has been the ring name of the son of Rick Steiner since September 2021, the NXT Tag Team Champion has more eyes on him now after joining the SmackDown roster in February.
During a Q&A session with Monopoly Events, Scott Steiner, Bron Breakker’s uncle, was asked for his thoughts on Breakker’s name.
Unsure why WWE didn’t make Breakker a Steiner, but proud of Breakker’s in-ring accomplishments, he said:
“I’m not going to say anything as long as he keeps on doing what he does.
“I give him s**t all the time that he’s stealing all our s**t, he does my Frankensteiner, does our suplexes, but he has his own specific way of doing everything so it’s definitely different.
“I take it as a compliment from him, I talk to him almost every week we are still a tight-knit family. I think it’s great, and I think he wants to be a Steiner but there’s certain things there’s no reason trying to change.
“So if that’s how they want to push him, so be it. It’s not a fight worth fighting.”
Bron Breakker has now been teased for a notable match at WWE WrestleMania 40, which you can read more about right here.
