John Cena Shares Honest Thoughts On His WWE In-Ring Future WWE

16-time world champion John Cena has opened up about his in-ring future, confidently stating that he’s not done with WWE.

Having recently returned for his longest sustained run in WWE in a number of years, many fans are reasonably asking whether this could be one of the last of its kind for Cena, especially considering his success in Hollywood.

Ahead of Fastlane, and Cena’s second premium live event match of the year, Cena appeared on WWE The Bump to comment on how much more he feels he has to give to the WWE.

Cena said:

“Selfishly I wanted make sure it’s not time to go yet, and I confidently believe that I’m not done, but I do believe we’re all fighting that ticking clock and mine has less seconds than most other people in the locker room.”

“But I just want to say thank you, thank you to the audience. A lot of times we just go away, and we don’t get a chance to say a proper ‘hey, thanks for allowing me to do this for so long’.”

“I pull no punches, I don’t exist without the audience, and I’m just really grateful for every single second. It’s why I can’t talk trash about anybody.”
