BR-230 Transamazon is a 5,000 km stretch of dirt road through the Amazon rainforest. Created by the Brazilian Military Government to allow the colonization of the Amazon. Marcus, a former gold miner who became an Evangelical pastor, has traveled the road hundreds of times. The film is a journey through memory and the places of colonization. Visiting the stories of the humans who have populated the deep forest from its cowboys and hunters to its illegal gold miners. Giving us a better understanding to the deeper meaning of the “Border”, a place where anything is possible and life exists as an endless dream.
