Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls at Universal's Islands of Adventure 2022 - United ThrillsDudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls Ride Overview

Join Dudley Do-Right as he ventures to save Nell Fenwick, his crush, from the evil Snidely Whiplash. Part water flume, part roller coaster, riders experience a thrill, or a splash, around every turn on Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls.

Similar to Disney’s Splash Mountain, riders navigate through story scenes and smaller drops before plummeting down the 75-foot final drop. Also, hopefully you like getting soaked, because this ride is one of the wettest in all of Orlando.

Loose Articles:

  • Most loose articles are allowed on the ride, but should be properly secured.
  • Backpacks are also allowed, but must be held in your lap or placed on your seat in front of you. Keep in mind that your backpack and items inside will get wet.

Also, we recommend bringing a couple quart-sized Ziploc bags to put your phone, wallet, and keys in if you plan to keep those in your pocket.

Lockers:

  • Optional lockers are available down a small path to the left of the ride entrance.
  • Standard small lockers start at $4 and large lockers start at $5 for a 90-minute rental.
  • If you plan to rent this locker, we recommend you ride all three water rides back-to-back. The other two water rides are Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges and Jurassic Park River Adventure.

Accessibility:

  • Guests in wheelchairs must transfer onto the ride vehicle.
  • Learn additional accessibility information on Universal Orlando’s website here.

How Wet Will I Get?

Simply put, very wet. Like walking outside in a heavy rainstorm. Although, slightly less wet than Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges depending on your seat. Also, the riders in the front of the log often get more wet than those in the back.

Our Recommendations

Ride Priority: Moderate – If you are willing to get wet, we recommend including this ride into your schedule. Although, you can stay dry, miss this ride, and still make the most of your day at Universal.

Best Time to Ride: For the shortest wait, ride during the first two hours of the day.

  • We recommend riding this after the Marvel Super Hero Island attractions.
  • Although, on hot summer days, riding later in the day is a nice way to cool off.

Best Seats in the House: If you enjoy getting soaked, the front row is the way to go. If you were dragged on the ride and prefer to get less soaked, then towards the back is better. Also, the attraction attendants traditionally assign you a seat, but they may grant your request if you ask for a certain spot.
