A popular dive bar is struggling to keep its doors open as a legal challenge with Downtown Grand Hotel continues on.

On Saturday, the Red Rock Harley Davidson co-hosted a "Harleys for Hogs" party to support Hogs & Heifers Saloon and its owner.

According to the bar, a cease and desist and eviction order was sent in September that alleges the bar creates an unsafe environment in the area.

"We are up against a great financial powerhouse with numerous politically influential members, partners and friends around the globe." wrote the bar on Facebook Saturday morning. "Ultimately, Downtown 3rd Street is our home and with the support of all of you over the years it is the street that HOGS Built and we will fight to keep our home!"

The bar said it is attempting to win an injunction against the hotel's owner, C.I.M. Group, to stop its eviction order and continue forward in a lawsuit against the property firm.

Hogs & Heifers said its first court date is set for November 18 and in the meantime, it plans to keep its loyal fanbase and the entire community informed on the legal battles ahead.
