TV Article Supergirl: Wonder Woman Lynda Carter to appear in season 2 By Natalie Abrams Natalie Abrams Senior Writer EW's editorial guidelines Published on June 21, 2016 12:00PM EDT Photo: Warner Brothers/Getty Images It’s official: Lynda Carter has been tapped to appear in the second season of Supergirl. EW has learned the former Wonder Woman will appear in multiple episodes as the President of the United States, who was mentioned in the season finale. Carter will first appear in episode 203. The news is hardly a surprise after executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg revealed their plans back in March. They had hoped Carter would appear in the first season, but the timing didn’t work out, so they planned to bring her on in season 2 as POTUS. Carter’s appearance follows guest roles by several other superhero alums, including Lois and Clark star Dean Cain and Supergirl actress Helen Slater, who play Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) adoptive parents. The news also comes on the heels of Supergirl casting Tyler Hoechlin as Superman. Wonder Woman: 13 Looks Since the 1940s Supergirl will return Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
