Tulane's MICHAEL KOGAN and Houston's SARAH BORWELL are the Feb. 12 Conference USA Tennis Players of the Week.

Women -

Houston's SARAH BORWELL is the Conference USA Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 11. Sarah defeated Selia Mathew of No. 26 Alabama by a score of 6-4, 6-2 on Feb. 9 and also won in No. 1 doubles with partner Jen Baccarani defeating Millie Begovic and Weyli Chang by a score of 8-4. Borwell also defeated Cincinnati's Jen Capuzzi at No. 1 singles in two sets 6-3, 6-2 and again won in doubles against Khush Italia and Jen Capuzzi by a score of 8-2. She is 5-0 in singles for the season and 5-0 in doubles with Baccarani.

Tulane's MICHAEL KOGAN is the Conference USA Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 11. Kogan, the fourth-ranked player in the nation, picked up a pair of victories against No. 30 Arkansas on Tuesday. The sophomore earned his 50th career singles victory with a hard-fought three-set win over Oggie Kolev, ranked No. 81 in the country. Kogan and junior Victor Romero, the No. 21 ranked doubles tandem in the nation had opened the match by cruising to a 8-3 win over Aleksey Bubis and Kolev, ranked No. 38 in the country. Despite Kogan's victories, Tulane dropped the road match, 5-2.
