Abstract

This document details a method that makes it possible to control access to a content of a container such as a safety deposit box, said method being based on the capture, processing and analysis of data of keystroke biometric data from the data input received from a keyboard upon interaction of a user who wishes to access the content of the container, with a digital ludic activity displayed on a screen preferably located on one side of the container. Once the username and password have been entered, said digital ludic activity is displayed and captured by means of the typing of data of keystroke biometric data on interacting therewith and are compared with keystroke biometric data recorded and stored in keystroke biometric data database, allowing or denying access.

Description

METHOD FOR ACCESSING A CONTAINER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a safe access method for protecting elements housed in containers such as safety deposit boxes, wherein said safety mechanism uses electrodermic safety signals as a safety measure, which are generated by a visual, auditory or audiovisual stimulus.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The current state of safety in boxes (transport, food and objects, and also safety deposit boxes) are very unsafe due to the fact that their safety mechanism is easy to violate, since the information for accessing them is based on administrative credentials such as, for example: user/password, bolts or locks.
Patent number US8068932B2, granted to Kirsinger, discloses a container for a storage system which has a regulated access control wherein its design demonstrates that there are various compartments for storing different objects. The objects inside the container are accessed through a touch screen.
Patent number US7486810B1 , granted to Accapadi, discloses the assignment of virtual keyboards as a biometric digital fingerprint collection mechanism. The process works as follows: each key of the virtual keyboard will be assigned a biofield that collects information on digital fingerprints, the stroke delay of each key is recorded and these values are compared to the previous data in a training stage.
Patent application US2013/0109930A1 , by Ermoza, includes a system for verifying the identity of a person. This system provides at least one characteristic of the subject analysed, to which end a surface for the hand of the subject is used which contains a series of sensors of physiological parameters, the information collected by the system is analysed through a computerised application that provides a response that will confirm the identity of the person.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a new safety method based on electrodermic signals that are emitted on receiving some type of visual stimulus to protect the content of a container. In another aspect of the invention there is a safety deposit box that makes it possible to implement the method of the invention.
The ultimate purpose of the invention in any of its aspects is to protect the content of a safety container controlling the access to the interior thereof using an access control system so that only the owner or authorised person may access the content.
The object of the present invention makes it possible to provide a high level of security which is based on keystroke biometric data generated by the user on interacting by means of a ludic activity, such as a videogame, displayed on a screen. There is a possibility that the screen may be a touch screen and the keyboard is displayed therein.
The object of the invention envisages a safe and efficient access method, wherein there are no elements easy to obtain and/or forge, as in systems based on digital fingerprints.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In order to complement the description being made and with the object of helping to better understand the characteristics of the invention, in accordance with a preferred embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by a set of drawings where, in an illustrative and non-limiting manner, the following has been represented: Figure 1. Shows a front view of the container.
Figure 2. Shows a plan view of the container.
Figure 3. Shows an illustration of the keyboard and screen panels.
Figure 4. Shows a side view of the container.
Figure 5. Shows a diagram representing the method of the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In a possible embodiment of the invention there is a container such as that observed in figures 1 , 2 and 4, which has a base, preferably vertical walls, preferably four, that emerge from the edges of said base defining a box (2) open on the upper part, a lid (1) destined for covering the box (2), thereby closing the container; on the upper part, a lid (1) destined for covering the box (2), thereby closing the container; wherein an articulation (8) joins the lid (1) and the box (2) such that the lid (1) closes the box (2) on being folded along one of the walls of the box (2) as observed in figure 4.
The container is equipped with a processing unit (not shown in the figures) whereto a screen (6), preferably located on the lid (1) and destined for displaying visual content, is connected, a user data panel (5a) and a password data panel (5b) destined for allowing the introduction of data; wherein the screen (6) is preferably located on the lid (1), together with a keyboard (4) which is also preferably located on the lid (3) and which is destined for allowing a user to interact by means of keyboard entry or key strokes of said user who wishes to access the interior of the box (2) of the container, as can be observed in figure 3. Eventual access is allowed through means for controlling the aperture of the container destined for allowing the aperture of the lid providing access to the box (2) and which are preferably located in the articulation (8).
The container is equipped with an energy generating system defined in a battery and having a memory associated with the processing unit (not shown in the figures). A keystroke biometry data database and/or user database can be housed in said memory, although said databases can be housed in data storage means accessible by the processing unit.
Therefore, access to the container is controlled and managed by the processing unit in order to, by means of its interaction, proceed to enter username and password data in the panels (5a, 5b) located on the lid (1) in order to, subsequently and upon identifying the user, display a digital ludic activity such as a videogame perceptible by the user and with which he or she interacts by means of the keyboard (4) through a screen (6) located on the lid (1) in order to access the box (2) of the container. In those embodiments that make use of the touch screen (6), the keyboard (4) may be comprised on the screen (6) in the manner of an area that can be selected for entering said data, in the same manner as the panels (5a, 5b).
Once having done this, keystroke biometric data are captured from the data entry received from the keyboard (4) on interacting with the digital ludic activity when it is interacting with said digital ludic activity, said keystroke biometric data comprise at least one of: total typing time, average typing speed, maximum typing speed, total typing time or partial typing rhythm. Once the keystroke biometric data have been captured, said keystroke biometric data are compared with keystroke biometric data recorded and stored in a keystroke biometric database. Access is completed subsequently on actuating the container aperture control means destined for allowing the aperture of the lid (1), giving access to the box (2), when the keystroke biometric data coincide with the keystroke biometric data recorded and stored in a keystroke biometric database.
The digital ludic activities are stored in a ludic database that is accessible by the processing unit through an operating system such that an access control system, which is in charge of allowing access to the container, is in turn controlled. As can be observed in figure 5, both the access control system and the ludic databases are connected to the battery energy generating system. One battery serves to feed both.
