Abstract

A system and method provides view information together with directions. Route information is generated for a route to a target destination, wherein the route information comprises path data for the route, and directions to the target destination. One or more points where line of sight breaks are calculated using the path data. View information is obtained responsive to one or more of said line of sight breaks.
