Abstract
The invention relates to a method, in particular a continuous method, for producing a tension-bearing element (32) coated with a polymer layer, comprising the following steps: a) producing at least one tension-bearing element by impregnating at least one fiber structure (12) containing carbon fibers with at least one polymer precursor and pultruding the impregnated fiber structure; and b) coating the at least one tension-bearing element produced in step a) at least in some areas with a layer (30) of a polymer by means of extrusion. The invention further relates to a coated tension-bearing element (32) that can be obtained by the method according to the invention, to the use of said tension-bearing element, and to a device (8) for producing a coated tension-bearing element (32), in particular in a continuous manner.
