Definitions
- the present invention relates to a surgical organizer, which allows different surgical instruments and materials to be organized before, during and after its use in a surgical intervention.
- Bags or containers are currently used to collect waste materials from an operating room, such as needles or gauze, but no surgical organizer is used within the meaning of the present invention.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention comprises a plurality of housings for different surgical instruments, and is characterized by the fact that at least one of said housings is of a rigid material for the placement of needles and / or laparoscopic surgery material or open
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also advantageously comprises at least one adhesive strip for fixing to a surface, for example an upper strip and a central strip for greater support.
- Said at least one rigid material housing can be advantageously separated from the rest of the surgical organizer, and is preferably made of a rigid plastic and comprises a lid.
- said at least one rigid material housing comprises a plurality of folding lines so that during storage it does not take up much space.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention may comprise a fastening tape for cables or sutures, and may also comprise a housing with two entrances at different heights and the same bottom.
- said housing with two entrances comprises in its upper entrance a plurality of holes or grooves for placing ligatures.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention advantageously comprises a housing provided with two flaps for placement of ligatures and operating room materials, said housing being separable from the rest of the surgical organizer.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also advantageously comprises a tear line for separating the part of said rigid material housing and said fastening tape from the rest of the surgical organizer.
- the rigid material housing allows a working suction cannula to be accommodated, without producing a suction effect, also allowing its extraction with ease;
- Figure 1 is a front view of the surgical organizer of the present invention.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention comprises a first housing 1 of a rigid material, for example of rigid plastic, for containing already used needles, placing laparoscopy material and placing open surgical material, such as the vacuum cleaner or electric scalpel.
- the rigid material of this first housing 1 allows to securely accommodate needles, scalpel blades with or without handle and other sharp objects already used and, in addition, allows to house and remove the vacuum cleaner in operation, since there is no effect of suction thanks to the rigid nature of the material.
- This first housing 1 comprises a cover 10 which allows said first housing 1 to be closed when it is desired to remove. This cover 10 allows the withdrawal to be safely.
- This first housing 1 can easily be done with scissors, or simply pull the dotted line.
- the first housing 1 comprises a plurality of folding line 11 for folding in the storage position, occupying a reduced space.
- said fold lines 11, as seen in Figure 1 are two horizontal fold lines near the upper and lower ends of the housing 1 and two vertical fold lines on the sides of said housing 1, in addition to the corresponding folding lines that allow folding on the rear face of the housing 1.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also comprises a tape 2 placed above said first housing 1.
- This tape 2 is used to hold the upper part of the surgical instruments placed inside said first housing 1, to order the cables of said surgical instruments or for ordering sutures.
- the surgical organizer set defined by said first housing 1 and tape 2 can be separated from the rest of the surgical organizer.
- a tear line 3 is defined that extends along the entire surgical organizer, as can be seen in Figure 1.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also comprises a second housing 4, which has a double entrance, an upper entrance 41 and a lower entrance 42, and the same bottom.
- Said upper entrance 41 may comprise a plurality of holes or grooves 43 for the placement of ligatures and sutures, being housed inside the second housing 4 to prevent contamination.
- Said second housing 4 is also used to store small waste material, for example suture cards, and to store small instruments. It is also used to place the cold scalpel, avoiding cuts to the nurse or nurse and in the coverage of the operating table, with the consequent loss of sterility that would represent.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also comprises a third housing 5 provided with two flaps 51 that is removably attached to said second housing 4.
- the purpose of this third housing is to order ligatures, sutures and different materials that are used in an operating room , and also to place the cold scalpel.
- Said third housing 5 can be easily removed by the nurse or nurse.
- the surgical organizer of the present invention also comprises an adhesive strip 6.
- This adhesive strip 6 allows the surgical organizer to be easily placed and removed from its fixation position.
- the organizer of the present invention also comprises comprising a second adhesive strip 7 for better fixation.
