Abstract

전지모듈 및 전지모듈의 냉각방법이 제공된다. 상기 전지모듈은 제 1 전지셀 및 냉각핀을 포함한다. 냉각핀은 제 1 전지셀에 인접하여 배치된다. 상기 냉각핀은 제 1 및 제 2 헤더(header), 압출 하우징(extruded housing), 및 유동 변환기(flow diverter)를 가진다. 상기 제 1 및 제 2 헤더는 각각 압출 하우징의 제 1 및 제 2 단부에 각각 결합된다. 상기 압출 하우징은 제 1 및 제 2 헤더와 유동적으로 연통(fluidly communicate)하도록 연장된 다수의 제 1 유동 채널들(flow channels)과 제 2 유동 채널들을 가진다. 상기 유동 변환기는, 유체(fluid)가 제 1 전지셀로부터 열 에너지를 추출(extract)하기 위해 제 1 헤더로부터 압출 하우징의 다수의 제 1 유동 채널들을 통과하여 제 2 헤더 쪽으로 유동하도록 유도하기 위해 제 1 헤더 내부에 배치된다.
