Abstract

A channel recommendation apparatus to recommend radio channels. The channel recommendation apparatus includes a radio channel analyzer and an automatic channel selector coupled to the radio channel analyzer. The radio channel analyzer scans available radio channels for broadcast content, analyzes the broadcast content of each radio channel having broadcast content, and classifies each radio station having broadcast content. The automatic channel selector automatically initiates a switch from a current radio channel to a new radio channel in response to a disruption of content in progress on the current radio channel.
