Abstract
The invention relates to a hypodermic needle characterised in that the end of the tubular body opposite that of the head terminates in a solid conical tip which in turn terminates in a sharp penetrating point. The area close to the base of the tip includes a plurality of small holes which open onto the side surface of same for the passage of the liquid being used. The base of the solid conical tip includes a short collar which can be coupled to the corresponding end of the tubular body and attached to same by any means. The diameter of the base of the conical tip matches the outer diameter of the tubular body and a continuous connection is formed between the interior of the tubular body and the exterior of the conical tip.
Description
AGUJA HIPODERMICA HYPODERMIC NEEDLE
D E S C R I P C I Ó ND E S C R I P C I Ó N
OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓNOBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hypodermic needle, of those used for the application of intramuscular or intravenous injections.
The object of the invention is to obtain a "painless" needle, that is to say that it does not produce pain or sensibly appreciable damage in the user when crossing its skin and other tissues that it must cross until it reaches the injection point.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As is known, hypodermic needles consist of a tubular body, of reduced diameter, topped by one end in a coupling head to the corresponding and complementary syringe, with its free end cut to a bevel, constituting a hollow and highly inserted insertion tip. sharp, so that when introduced into the body of the user produces an annular cut, with drag of a tiny cylinder of tissue, which is the cause of strong pain, specifically due to the tearing thereof.
hematomas molestos y desagradables.Regardless of the fact that such pain causes many patients to dislike injections, especially young individuals, the aforementioned tissue tearing brings many times annoying and unpleasant bruises.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓNDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The hypodermic needle proposed by the invention fully solves this problem, completely eliminating pain due to "puncture", since it does not cause tissue tearing.
For this, and more specifically, the needle that is recommended, starting from a tubular body similar to that of a conventional hypodermic needle, focuses its characteristics on the fact that its free end is finished off, instead of a cutting bevel, in a Conical and solid tip, with a sharp vertex, which by its own configuration does not produce any cutting effect on the fabric, as previously mentioned, but a simple elastic deformation of the same around an imaginary axis, easily recovered after the extraction of the needle.
As a complement to the structure described and for the necessary and unavoidable liquid outflow, the said conical tip incorporates in its basal area, several lateral holes, of reduced dimensions, in direct communication with the tubular body, although and as such holes are evident they could also be located instead of the said tubular body, in the vicinity of the conical tip.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LOS DIBUJOSDESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the features of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical realization thereof, accompanies as an integral part of said description, a set of drawings where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:
Figure 1 shows, according to a schematic representation in side elevation, a hypodermic needle made in accordance with the object of the present invention.
Figure 2.- Shows an enlarged and sectioned detail of the conical tip that participates in the needle of the previous figure.
Figure 3.- Finally, it shows a comparative detail between the signal that a conventional hypodermic needle and the needle of the invention produce on the tissue.
REALIZACIÓN PREFERENTE DE LA INVENCIÓNPREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
In view of the aforementioned figures, it can be seen how the needle that is recommended is constituted from a tubular body (1), of appropriate length and diameter, preferably of steel, topped by one of its ends in the classic head (2) coupling to the complementary syringe, as previously stated.
- A -Well, according to the invention, the said tubular body (1) incorporates at its end (3) opposite the head, a conical and solid tip (4), conveniently sharpened towards its vertex (5) and with a diameter in its base or internal limb coinciding with the outer diameter of the tubular body (1), as seen in Figure I a . - TO -
For fixing between both elements, tubular body (1) and conical and solid tip (4), the latter can incorporate a small annular neck (6) pluggable into the corresponding end of the tubular body (1) and attachable to the latter by any means, medium.
The conical tip (4) presents, emerging from its base (7) and directed towards its lateral surface (8), a plurality of tiny through holes (9), as observed especially in the detail of Figure 2, so that through these holes the liquid or pharmacological product in question leaves the needle towards the planned injection zone.
However, as has been said before, it is feasible that these micro-holes (9) instead of being located in the conical tip (4), are located in the area of the tubular body (1) next to said tip.
In this way it is achieved that, in front of the footprint (10) defined by a conventional hypodermic needle and shown in Figure 2, with an annular configuration and of appreciable diameter, the footprint left by the needle that is recommended is a simple point ( 11), as also shown in Figure 3, that is to say a considerably smaller and less damaging footprint, which occurs in the absence of pain.
