Abstract
A fiber optic cable and a method of manufacturing the fiber optic cable are disclosed. The fiber optic cable includes optical fibers, a loose tube made of fluoropolymer, a strength member, and a jacket made of fluoropolymer. The optical fibers are placed in the loose tube. The strength member is placed around the loose tube. The jacket is placed around the strength member.
