Description

Extension arm for mounting of display screen, especially a flat television screen
The subject of the invention can is an extension arm for mounting of display screen, especially a flat television screen
A flat display screen handle known from a patent description US 6 905 101 , consists of two mounting elements, one of them is mounted In a fixed manner, another one holds the screen. One of the two interconnected mounting elements has a slideway. Alongside its horizontal axis a radially mounted screen can be moved. The screen rotational axis is located close to the screen gravity centre. In a variant, the screen mounting plate, set as one element, is connected by a handle support to the wall, The handle is the second element, through the set of two arms, hinge connected, with an option to move horizontally and parallely. The handle is manually moved in all dimensions.
The object of the invention is introducing an engine drive to the above described handle for all possible movements.
The essence of the solution consists in the fact that the extension arm has an engine drive set. Its controlled operation provides a required directional position of the extension arm - outreaching or moving along the horizontal axis and further the extension arm has a head equipped in an engine moving a screen mounting element. Its controlled operation provides required directional positioning of the extension arm - bending along the vertical axis.
To perform outreaching movement, the extension arm uses an electric engine - driving through the screw - the nut, a thereby a toothed bar, cooperating with a toothed wheel connected to the extension arm.
To synchronize the connector and the arm during the outreaching movement of the extension arm, it has a string, reeled on drums properly placed on a toothed - -
wheel and the hinge axis. In order to synchronize the head and the connector during outreaching movement, it has a string, reeled on the axis and the hinge axis.
In a variant, it has another arm to synchronize the connector and the arm during the outreaching movement which is powered simultaneously with an arm from the engine through a screw and a nut connected with toothed bar cooperating with a toothed wheel. To synchronize the head and the connector during the outreaching movement it has the second connector connected with the second arm and a head.
To perform a rotary movement of the head relative to a vertical axis, the extension arm has a string reeled on drums located on a toothed wheel, hinge axis and a head.
The string is a synchronizing element between the head and the arm during the outreaching movement.
The string is powered by the second engine, through a screw, nut and toothed bar, cooperating with a string roll.
In a variant, to perform the rotary movement of the head relative to a vertical axis the extension arm has an electrical engine powering the head with mounting elements of a television screen through a pair of toothed wheels. The head and the engine are mounted on the plate.
The head axis can be a rotary axis of the connector and the drum axis at the same time.
The advantageous features offered by the invention solutions include the possibility of total automation of the extension arm and introducing its remote steering.
The solutions proposed by the invention are shown in the embodiments in the diagram, where figures represent as follows: - -
fig. 1 - extension arm with string, fig. 2 - mounting set for a television screen - a cross section, fig. 3 - extension arm with additional arm, fig. 4 - additional variant of the extension arm.
The display screen mounting extension arm consists of arm 1 mounted rotationally on a mounting surface and connector 2, connected with hinge 3 with arm 1. The arm 1 is mounted on axis 4. The arm 1 and connector 2 determine hinge extendable system.
At the end of connector 2, opposite to its end and connected with arm 1 with a hinge, on the axis 105 there is a handle for mounting a moveable screen, directly or through a head.
Toothed wheel 7 connected with arm 1 is located on axis 4, and cooperates with toothed bar 6.
To perform the extension arm outreaching movement, that is moving the set alongside the horizontal axis, the electric engine 8 is used, through the screw 9 and nut 10 it powers toothed bar 6 connected to it and cooperating with a toothed bar wheel 7.
To synchronize connector 2 relative to the arm 1 during the outreaching movement there is string 12, reeled on drums 11 located respectively on a toothed wheel 7 and the hinge axis 3. To synchronize the head 20 relative to connector 2 during the outreaching movement there is string 112, reeled on the axis 105 and on the hinge axis 3.
Television screen, not In the diagram, is located in the mounting element 19 of the head 20, powered with the engine 21 , serving to perform a screen bending movement in alongside vertical axis. The head 20 may be located in the axis 105 of the connector 2. - -
To perform a rotary movement alongside vertical rotation axis, the head 20 has an engine 121 fixed on the plate 23 and powering the head 20 through a pair of toothed wheels 22.
Linear movement of toothed bar 6 leads to a rotation of a toothed wheel 7 cooperating with it and turning of arm 1 , what follows extending or contracting of the system and outreaching or taking back the television screen.
Starting engine 121 leads to turning of head 20, what follows turning a television screen around a vertical axis.
In a variant presented in figure 3, to synchronize the connector 102 relative to the arm 101 during the outreaching movement the second arm 101a, powered at the same time with the arm 101 from the engine 8 through screw 9 and nut 10, connected to toothed bar 6 cooperating with toothed wheel 7. To synchronize head 20 relative to connector 102 during the outreaching movement there is a second connector 101a and head 20.
In the next variant presented in figure 4 to perform extension arm outreaching or moving the system alongside the horizontal axis there is electric engine 8 which, through screw 9 and nut 10, powers toothed bar 6 cooperating with toothed wheel 7.
To synchronize connector 102 and arm 101 during the outreaching movement there is the second arm 101a, powered simultaneously with arm 101 from engine 8 through screw 9 and nut 10 connected to the toothed bar 6 cooperating with the toothed wheel 7.
In the example, to perform the head 20 rotationally movement relative to vertical axis there is string 112 reeled on drums 11 located on toothed wheel 7, hinge axis 3 and head 20. The string 112 is powered by the second engine 8a, through screw 9, nut 10 and toothed bar 106, cooperating with string roll 112. String 112 is used to synchronize head 20 with connector 103 during the extension arm outreaching.
The invention is not limited to the particular examples described above.
