　本発明の液晶パネルは、第１の偏光子と；屈折率楕円体がｎｘ＞ｎｙ＞ｎｚの関係を有し、面内位相差Ｒｅ１が９０～３００ｎｍである第１の光学補償層と；液晶セルと；屈折率楕円体がｎｘ＞ｎｙ＞ｎｚの関係を有し、面内位相差Ｒｅ２が９０～３００ｎｍである第２の光学補償層と；第２の偏光子とを視認側に向かってこの順に有し、すべての光学補償層の厚み方向位相差の合計ΣＲｔｈ１～ｎと液晶セルの厚み方向の位相差Ｒｔｈｃとが下記式（１）を満足する： 　－１６０ｎｍ＜（ΣＲｔｈ１～ｎ－Ｒｔｈｃ）＜５０ｎｍ　・・・（１）。
