Abstract

 本発明の液晶パネルは、第1の偏光子と;屈折率楕円体がnx>ny>nzの関係を有し、面内位相差Re1が90~300nmである第1の光学補償層と;液晶セルと;屈折率楕円体がnx>ny>nzの関係を有し、面内位相差Re2が90~300nmである第2の光学補償層と;第2の偏光子とを視認側に向かってこの順に有し、すべての光学補償層の厚み方向位相差の合計ΣRth1~nと液晶セルの厚み方向の位相差Rthcとが下記式(1)を満足する:  -160nm<(ΣRth1~n-Rthc)<50nm ・・・(1)。
