Abstract

A system may include a verification server, a gaming server, and a gaming device, in which the gaming device, together with the gaming server, may provide at least one gaming activity and possibly at least one service to a player using the gaming device. The system may further include a verification device in communications with the verification server. In one aspect, the verification server may pass an indicator between the verification device and the gaming device via the gaming server. In this fashion, verification may be made that the gaming device is in communications with the gaming server. In another aspect, the verification server may store an indicator received from the verification device.
