Abstract

A variable resistance exercise bench having a frame and linkage assembly that pivotally attaches an upper torso assembly to the frame The linkage assembly includes a weight that is movably mounted on a mam linkage member such that movement of the weight provides the means to vary the resistance of the device An adjustable, Y-shaped mounting plate is provided as part of a multi positional foot assembly that is adjustable through an arc range to accommodate different user positions.
