Abstract

An ultra-wideband communications network and methods for communication are provided. In one embodiment, an ultra-wideband transceiver transmits video data that is in a lossy or lossless compression format. The lossy or lossless format may be a wavelet-based format. The transmitted ultra-wideband signal may be transmitted in a single or in multiple radio frequency bands. The network may further include a second ultra-wideband transceiver and a video display device.
