Abstract

A power supply device (10) for use with a working surface comprises a channel fitting into a slot in the working surface. A subframe (14) is movable between an operative and retracted position. It incorporates a pivoted arm (72) carrying a cordless connector (74) at its distal end is pivoted to the front of the channel to extend over the working surface when the subframe (14) is in the operative position. A cover (18) is pivoted to the rear of the channel. The cover (18) carries a cam (88) which engages the subframe (14) to pivot it downwardly so that it is substantially contained within the channel. A plate spring acts on the suc-frame (14) to move it upwardly when the cover (18) is moved towards its open positon.
