Description

TITLE
Mobile Telephone System Related Arrangement
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a telephone system arrangement, including a number of wirelessly and with radio signals connected cooperating enabled telephony units or telephone devices.
For its application the invention requires that each telephony unit at call shall be clearly identifiable by the telephone system related arrangement, either via calling line identification and/or equal identification.
The following description intends to at first hand get an application at a mobile telephone system related arrangement, where connected mobile telephone devices to a great extent are person related, where one singular telephone device normally is utilised by one person only, a circumstance that shall be regarded as an advantageous condition for the present invented telephone system related arrangement.
Though, it shall be remarked that subscriber telephone devices connected via fixed lines or landlines to the fixed public switched telephony network, at certain below described conditions and completions, can be connected to and be a part of the telephone system related arrangement according to the present invention.
If the present invention is regarded in the context of the assigned application at a mobile telephone system related arrangement, the present invention builds on that the mobile telephone network, in a well known way, shall be adjusted to, using the mobile telephone network's inherent connection making, switching and voice transferring capabilities, connect a calling party's telephony device to a called party's telephony device, using significant information tied to the called party's telephone device, in the following descriptions exemplified by a telephone number. The arrangement according to the present invention, with its application within a mobile telephony system related arrangement, comprises in all cases a mobile telephony device related to the mobile telephony system.
With such a mobile telephony network, certain different categories of mobile devices are cooperating, where a first category requires an occurrence of a first circuit arrangement, by means of with voice control a user can be able to choose one of several subcribers with belonging subscriber telephone numbers stored within a memory belonging to a telephony device, while a second category are lacking this first circuit arrangement, this second category requiring keypad input to let a circuit arrangement identify the telephone number to a selected subscriber.
Via voice control or not, hence a telephony device can be able to reach called and clearly identified telephone devices regardless of if the devices are connected via radio communication to the mobile telephony network (e. g. GSM), or via fixed landlines to the fixed telephony network (e.g. PSTN).
The application of the present invention thus is independent of if the mobile telephone device lacks or includes said first circuit arrangement, allowing by using a, by itself well-known, voice control to transform generated sound and sound sequences to a representation of the called partys name, to be able to identify the significant information related to the called party's telephone device, and to send said significant information as a subsciber number to a, for coded radiofrequencies adapted, receiver related to the mobile telephony network.
A mobile telephony device with voice control will be able to initiate, after controlling that the received name related sound waves identifies a stored suscriber number related to the received name, calling circuits belonging to the said mobile telephone device and send the subscriber number to the mobile telephony network, which initiates and carries out a connection to called telephone device, and establishes a voice channel. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Methods, arrangements and systems of above described nature and functionality are earlier known in several embodiments.
If the significant properties associated with the telephone system related arrangement of the present invention is regarded, it can be said that it is known to, in mobile telephone devices, install or create an above described first circuit arrangement, either by hardware ad/or software, to transform received soundwaves, representing a name, to a stored subscriber number identified by the name, identifying a subscriber with telephone device and subscriber number inside or outside a mobile telephone network or a wider telecommunication system
Said first circuit arrangement is then related to and installed in the telephone device, and via a within the telephone device resident register or memory a selected amount of possible-to-call subscriber number can be stored.
Theese possible-to-call subscriber numbers can be related to either a mobile telephony network or to a fixed line telephony network, while theese networks are connected to each other in a well-known way.
Using a telephone device of the first category, it is known that when changing a first personal mobile telephone device to a second personal telephone device, a new sequential entering of a complete list of the possible-to-call subscriber numbers with related voice control tags are required to the second telephone device's memory.
The practical use of theese to the mobile telephone belonging registers, containing voice control possible-to-call subscribers with belonging subscriber numbers, gives at hand that in the practical application only a few subscriber numbers will be stored within the this internal memory or register, and a clearing of the internal memorywil take place periodically or at least when the used mobile telephone device is replaced. For a subscriber holding a mobile telephone device of the first category it is possible to use voice control to easily initiate and activate call and voice channel connection to a selected amount of subscribers with their subscriber numbers, without having to load the memory of the subscribers own memory with their proper subscriber numbers, or having to enter memorised complete subscriber numbers via the device-belonging keypad in a known way.
Though, the practical application gives at hand that there is a typical need of beeing able to initiate call and voice channel connections to other subscribers, which subscriber numbers are not available via above described voice control, and. where these subscriber numbers has fallen out of the subscribers own memory capacity.
At need of calling such subscribers or subscriber devices, landlines or mobiles, it is common to call and establish a voice channel, through the mobile telephony network or through the fixed telephony network, to a service, reachable via a simply memorable subscriber number, as a short number, where a telephone operator can inform the calling subscriber about the appropriate wanted subscriber number.
The appropriate wanted subscriber number can be transferred via SMS (Short Message Service) to the calling subscriber's mobile telephone device or similar device, or the telephone operator can establish a connection to the wanted subscriber, regardless if the wanted subscriber's number is related to the fixed telephony network or to the mobile telephony network.
The latter costly service becomes necessary when a wanted subscriber number are related to an old relation, or is one of several temporary relations, and that cannot be reached through the internal memories or registers belonging to the telephone device, that could be activated using said voice control.
This service can also be used in situations where the keypad belonging to the mobile telephone device is hard to utilise in the correct sequence corresponding to the wanted subscriber number. Such situations often occurs when driving a car. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION TECHNICAL PROBLEMS If the circumstance that the technical considerations a professional within the topical area must do in order to be able to offer a solution to one or more identified technical problems is partly initially a necessary knowledge about the measures and/or the sequence of measures that has to be be carried out and partly a necessary choice of the necessary means is taken into consideration, the following technical problems should be relevant at the forthbringing of the present invention.
With this background, it is identified a technical problem in, from a starting point via a connected data communications network (e.g. Internet), in a known way, create a coordination between the in a telephone exchange memory, separated from the telephone device memory, stored subscriber numbers - or just a selected amount of among the in a telephone exchange memory, separated from the telephone device memory, stored subscriber numbers - and the in a mobile telephone device internal memory stored subscriber numbers and at that realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to make the information stored in the mobile telephone device internal memory available so that this information can be used by a voice control telephone exchange and in here be identified by the mobile telephone device's network identification, such as calling line identification or similar or corresponding identification methods.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to via the used data communication network create a synchronised coordination between the memory belonging to telephone device and the memory belonging to the telephone exchange.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to create at voice controlled telephone exchange, and where this telephone exchange shall comprise or cooperate with a memory separated from the mobile telephone device, and in said memory in a structured way it is stored telephone device separated, although telephone device coordinated, voice control possible-to-call subscriber devices.
In addition, it seems to be a technical problem to with simple measures and means be able to create such conditions that the complete list of coordinated voice controlled subscriber numbers will be available to several mobile telephone devices, serving as subscribers, can be stored in the same telephone device separated memories, registers, servers or similar, and in these registers be structured as telephone device separated and telephone device coordinated, hence a specific telephone device will by its identification gain access to only its own part of the register and and vi a voice control let choose a subscriber number among the in the register stored subscriber numbers.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to allow, in said telephone device separated and external telephone exchange based register or memory, each call significant information be structured and separatable depending on a calling telephone device identification, as its calling line identification.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to using a calling line identification to let the telephone exchange choose the memory area within the separate telephone exchange based memory which thus is at disposal to the calling party, and from where a possible-to-call subscriber device can be fetched.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to using a calling line identification and a called number to let said telephone exchange choose the memory area within the separate telephone exchange based memory which thus is at disposal to the calling party, and from where a possible-to-call subscriber devices can be fetched.
It is also identified a technical problem in to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages of and/or the design measures that must be carried out in order to be able to allow voice control information from a fixed telephony network connected telephone device, after authentication e.g. by using calling line identification, gain access to a memory area within the telephone exchange which otherwise is intended for another identified telephone device only, such as a mobile telephone device.
THE SOLUTION
The present invention starts from the by the way of introduction shown known technology by utilising a telephone system related arrangement, with a number of ingoing and/or related telephone devices and a telephony network, the latter adjusted to, with telephone network based call connection means, being able to connect an incoming call from a calling party to a called party via initiation of a significant information, corresponding to the calling party, and sending this to receiver related to the telephone network, at which said telephone device is allotted a circuit arrangement to be able to via said telephone network be connected to a voice controlled telephone exchange unit with a register or memory, where this register or memory is separated from the memory or register belonging to the telephone device.
To be able to solve one ore several of the above said technical problems the present invention specially shows that the known technology shall be completed with that within the voice controlled telephone exchange resident register or memory subscriber significant information is stored in a structured way for a selected number of, via voice control reachable, subscribers moreover with a for each calling and duly registered telephone device coordinated information, so that a registered calling telephone device, via voice control, shall be able to activate network belonging means in orer to be connected with one of the possible-to-call devices.
As preferred embodiments, in accordance with the foundation principles of the present invention, are in addition shown that via a connected data network (e.g. Internet) a synchronised coordination between the in a telephone device memory or register or similar stored possible-to-call subscriber devices and the in the telephone exchange memory or register or similar stored, and via voice control, possible-to-call subscriber devices.
Via a connected data network (e.g. Internet) could also a synchronised cooperation between the in a telephone device memory stored possible-to-call subscriber devices and merely a selected number of among the in the telephone exchange and telephone device separated memory stored possible-to-call subscriber devices be created.
A selected telephone device can be adjusted to gain access to only its own allotted memory space and via voice control let choose a subscriber number among the in that stored.
By using calling line identification the voice controlled telephone exchange is adjusted to choose a memory space, in the separate telephone exchange memory or register, which is at disposal to the calling party and out of which, via said voice control, one of the in that stored possible-to-call subscriber devices can be fetched or initiated.

Referring to to figure 1 , thus there are the foundation principles for the present invention schematically shown, and there the associated significant distinguishing features of the present invention, related to a mobile telephone device, generally are concreted, by the at present time proposed and in the following appended drawings closer shown and in the following description closer described, embodiment of a mobile telecommunication system related arrangement.
The mobile telecommunication system 1 comprises a mobile telephony or telecommunications network 2 with a number of mobile telephone devices, where two of these have been assigned reference numbers 1a, 1b, each one connected to the telephony network 2 via a connection, to be able to via this connection transfer information carrying signals between a telephone device 1a, 1b, and the telephony network 2.
The mobile telecommunication system 1 also comprises a fixed telephony network 11 , with one or more telephone devices, where one has been assigned reference number 1c. The mobile telecommunication system 1 also comprises a data communications network 10, which is illustrated as the data network "Internet".
The mobile telecommunications network 1 also comprises a, for the present invention significant, voice controlled telephone exchange 3, which advantageously can be constituted by e.g. a computer with attached telephony means, with an attached memory 4. The memory 4 is illustrated in figure 1 as an external memory but can be contituted by memory capacity within the telephone exchange.
The mobile telecommunications network 1 also comprises a terminal 13, connected via the data communications network 10, through where the memory content in the memory 4 can be changed.
The mobile telecommunications network 1 can also comprise an IP telephony network 12 with attached telephone devices 1d, where one has been assigned reference number 1d.
Here it is also shown a telephone system related arrangement 5, which will be structured through the following description.
This telephone system related arrangement 5 requires a number of ingoing and/or related mobile telephone devices, say 1a and 1b and a mobile telephony network 2, at which said telephone device 1a or 1b are each assigned a circuit arrangement to be able to via said mobile telephony network 2 be connected to a voice controlled telephone exchange unit 3, with an attached register or memory, where this register or memory 4 are shown separated from an internal memory or register 14 belonging to the telephone device 1a.
Within the voice controlled telephone exchange's 3 attached register or memory 4 is, as figure 2 intends to illustrate, subscriber significant information stored in a structured way, for a selected number of voice controlled dialing reachable subscribers 1a and 1b moreover with a for each possible-to-call and registered telephone device coordinated information, so that registered calling telephone device 1a, via own voice control information, shall be able to activate telephone network means 11a, in order to be connected via a voice channel to one of the registered possible-to-call subscriber devices, say the telephone devices 1 b, 1c or 1d.
In the practical embodiment certainly a connected channel via each of the other telephone networks 2, 12 will be selected. Certain selected connectable voice channels are in figure 1 illustrated with dashed lines and zig-zag lines respectively.
The telephone exchange unit 3 with its register 4 is more detailed described in the following text.
A connected data communications network 10 is adjusted to be able to create a synchronised cooperation between the in the in a telephone device 1a internal register or memory 14 stored possible-to-call subscriber devices 1b, 1c and/or 1d and the in the telephone exchange register or memory stored, via voice control, possible-to-call subscriber devices 1b, 1c and 1d.
Thus it is shown in figure 1 that a data channel 10a can be coordinated between a telephone device 1a and an internal memory 14 belonging to this telephone device, and said memory 4 belonging to a telephone exchange, for an information transfer. This data channel is here illustrated with dashed lines and is connected via the data communications network 10.
Furthermore, it is shown that via a connected data communications network 10 a synchronised cooperation between the in the internal memory 14 of the telephone device 1a stored possible-to-call subcriber devices and merely a selected number of the in the telephone device separated memory 3, belonging to the telephone exchange, stored possible-to-call subscriber devices with their subscriber numbers can be created.
Each thus selected telephone device, as the telephone device 1a, is adjusted to gain access to only its own assigned memory space and via voice control in a known way choose a subscriber number among the in this space stored subscriber numbers.
By a calling line identification originating from the device 1a the voice controlled telephone exchange 3 is adjusted to choose the, and only this, memory space, within the separate telephone exchange register or memory 4, which is at disposal to the calling party and from which memory 4 via said voice control one of the in here stored possible-to-call subscriber devices can be fetched or initiated.
Alternatively, by a calling line identification originating from the device 1a and a called number originating from device 1a the voice controlled telephone exchange 3 can be adjusted to choose a memory space 41 in the separate register or memory 4, belonging to the telephone exchange, which is at disposal to the calling party and from which memory 41 via said voice control one of the in here stored possible-to-call subscriber devices can be fetched or initiated.
More specially it is shown in figure 1 that a mobile telephone device 1a is adjusted to transfer information, via voice control, through a mobile telephone network 2 and an established voice channel 10b from the mobile telephone network 2, via the fixed telephone network 10 and to said telephone exchange unit 3, which by using said telephone exchange memory 4 evaluates the information against significant information corresponding to the called party, say telephone device 1b.
This subscriber number related information is transferred to call connecting means, which at answering signal from from the telephone device 1b via the telephone networks 11 , 2 and their call connecting means 11a, 2a connects the calling party's telephone device 1a with via the voice channel 10c called telephone device 1b.
The connection of the voice channel 10c can in the shown example be made through the call connecting means 2a, thus the voice channel 10b and 10c does not need to be tromboned via the telephone network 11 and the telephone exchange 3. When using corresponding call connecting means 11a, 12a the telephone devices 1c, 1d can be called.
In said, from the telephone device 1a, 1b separated, register or memory 4 belonging to the telephone exchange, call significant information in figure 2 is structured in dependence of a to the calling party corresponding identification, e.g. calling line identification, while the voice control information, stored in said register or memory 4, can be structured as name (A) and an additional significant information, such as company belonging (B) in order to increase the criteria for finding one and only one unambigous subscriber pointed out by the voice control.
More specially, the telephone exchange 3 is adjusted to receive a call from a registered device 1a, decide that the calling device 1a is duly registered and depending on an evaluated calling line identification the account or memory area 41 belonging to the device 1a can be made available.
By the voice control the telephone exchange 3 chooses a telephone number (C), stored structured with name (A) and an additional significant information such as company belonging (B). This telephone number (C) is sent to be used by each telephone network's 2, 11 ,12 call connecting means 2a, 11a, 12a in order to initiate a call, and then connect a voice channel as described above.
In figure 1 a telephone device 1c connected to the fixed telephone network 11 is shown, this device is expected to be utilised by several persons.
Should the owner of the telephone device 1a want to utilise his/her memory space 41 within the memory 4 via the device 1c, alternatively 1d, he/she he she can in a known way initiate a call to the telephone exchange 3 and thereafter send a person-identifying code, which via not shown circuits gains access to the memory space 41 belonging to the mobile telephone device 1a.
A call to and a voice channel connection initiated by circuits in the telephone exchange 3 can take place in different ways. Here a first circuit arrangement within the mobile telephone devices 1a, 1b can be utilised, e.g. voice control, here can the activation of short number via the telephone devices 1a, 1b keypads take place, here can the activation of a telephone number via the telephone devices 1a, 1b keypads take place, or here can other actions take place.
The register or memory 4 is here illustrated as a server and to which server a number of named functions are connected.
The figure 2 intends to illustrate a telephone exchange allotted circuit arrangement 4a, where stored information is coordinated in dependence of a called line identification.
Thus, in a first memory space 41 complete infomation about subscriber device allotted voice control information valid for a first telephone device is stored, as the device referenced by the tag 1a, and which is identified automatically by the voice controlled telephone exchange using calling line identification.
In a second memory space 42 complete infomation about subscriber device allotted voice control information valid for a second telephone device is stored, as the device referenced by the tag 1 b etc.
The voice control information, structured by calling line identification and stored in said register, memory or server 4, can be structured as name "A" (first name and last name or only first name or last name or alternatively another identification), an additionally significant information such as company belonging "B", and after an unambigous identification of the name and additional significant information, as company belonging, a corresponding telephone number "C", as to the telephone device 1b, 1c or 1d, is activated.
Even if the telephone device 1a and 1b is shown to be connected to the mobile telephone network 2 it is nothing that hinders allowing a telephone device 1c to be connected to a shown fixed telephone network 11 , where a cooperation takes place between these telecommunications networks 2a, 11 in a known way. The same applies to the IP telephony network 12 and its devices 1d.
Finally, figure 2 shows a circuit arrangement 31 , which is allotted to the telephone exchange unit 3, where a to the calling party's telephone device 1a corresponding calling line identification will control the availability of the relevant memory space 41.
Via an available data communications network 10 a from the outside (13) changed (removed or inserted) information can be added to the memory 4 and its memory space 41 , and this information will then be synchronously available via the data communications network 10 to the actual mobile telephone device 1a. Via a terminal 13 the memory content 41 can be changed by one ore several authenticated users. The changed information will be synchronised with the mobile telephone device's memory 14.
The present invention is certainly not limited as to the above described exemplified embodiment, but can undergo modifications within the framework for the idea of the invention illustrated in the following patent claims.
Specially it shall be regarded that each shown unit or function can be combined with each other shown unit or function within the framework, to be able to achieve the technical effects and functions asked for.
