Abstract

An audio book, which may be activated by voice commands is disclosed. The book enables the user to control the navigation of the reading according to sections and/or lines using voice commands (16) or control buttons (12). Text may be loaded into the book’s memory (22) in audio format, as electronic text files or recorded into it directly. The present invention is aimed to help the blind, the visually impaired, the illiterate and the dyslexic, as well as others who might find it useful. It enables the user to follow instructions in cookbooks or in other instruction manuals through audio means having full control over the manner the device reads the text through verbal commands or by using the control buttons.
