特表平 9— 5 0 9 4 8 8号公報には、 車両タイヤの変数データ (タイヤ圧、 タ ィャ温度、 タイヤ回転数等) を検出して送出するための能動型集積回路トランス ボンダ及びセンサ装置が記載されている。 即ち、 オンポ一ド型電源を伴った能動 型集積回路トランスボンダが車両タイヤの中に取り付けられ、 また、 圧力センサ、 温度センサ、 タイヤ回転センサがトランスボンダチップ、 電源、 アンテナに沿つ て基板上に取り付けられ、 前記トランスボンダは、 遠隔の質問源装置からの質問 信号を受信すると、 上記変数データを含む一連の符号化無線周波数信号を質問源 装置へ伝送する。
特開 2 0 0 0— 2 8 9 4 1 8号公報には、 車両タイヤの内部にタイヤ圧センサ を設けて、 電池をタイヤ外部に取り付け、 車両タイヤの外部で直接電池を着脱 - 交換できるようにした内蔵式タイヤ圧センサの電源装置が記載されている。
従来のタイヤセンサユニットは電池を電源としているために電池の交換が必要 である。 電池容量の大きい電池を用いることで電池交換の期間を長くすることが できるが、 タイヤ側に大型の電池を取り付けるとタイヤの重量バランスをとるた めの作業が面倒になる。
本発明はこのような課題を解決するためになされたもので、 電池レスのタイヤ センサュニットを提供することを目的とする。
発明の開示
前記課題を解決するため本発明に係るタイヤセンサュニットは、 車両のタイヤ に取り付けられタイヤの状態に関する情報を無線で送信するものであって、 車体 側に設けられた非接触型給電部から送出されたエネルギに基づいて直流電源を生 成する非接触型受電部を備え、 この非接触型受電部からタイヤセンサユニットの 動作に必要な電力を供給する構成とした。
なお、 非接触型給電部から非接触型受電部への無線によるエネルギの伝送は電 磁誘導を用いて行なってもよいし、 マイクロ波を用いて行なうようにしてもよい。 さらに、 本発明に係るタイヤセンサユニットは、 タイヤの空気圧を検出する圧力 センサと検出したタイヤ空気圧に係る情報を無線送信するための回路部と非接触 型受電部とがー枚のシート状の基板に設けられる構造とするのが望ましい。
本発明に係るタイヤセンサュニットは、 車体側に設けられた非接触型給電部か ら送出されたエネルギに基づいて直流電源を生成する非接触型受電部を備えたの で、 タイヤセンサユニットを電池レスとすることができ、 電池交換の必要がなく なる。 また、 タイヤ側に電池を取り付ける必要がないので、 タイヤの重量バラン スがくずれるという課題を解消できる。 また、 一枚のシート上の基板上にタイヤ センサュニットを形成することで、 タイヤセンサュニットをタイヤ内に実装した りタイヤのゴム内に実装したりすることが容易になる。 図面の簡単な説明

以下に本発明の実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。 第 1図は本発明に 係るタイヤセンサュニットを適用したタイヤ監視システムの全体プロック構成図, 第 2図は本発明に係るタイヤセンサュニットのブロック構成図である。
第 1図に示すようにタイヤ監視システム 1は、 車両の各タイヤ 2 (前右輪 2 a, 前左輪 2 b, 後右輪 2 c, 後左輪 2 d) 内にそれぞれ取り付けられた各タイヤセ ンサユニット 10 (10 a, 10 b, 10 c, 10 d) と、 車体側に設けられた 受信装置 20と、 車体側に設けられた表示装置 30と、 車体側であって各タイヤ 2の近傍にそれぞれ設けられた非接触型給電部 40 (40 a, 40 b, 40 c, 40 d) とからなる。 非接触型給電部 40は、 車両のバッテリから電力の供給を 受けて動作する。 この非接触型給電部 40は、 タイヤセンサユニット 10に対し て非接触で電力を供給する。 なお、 AB Sシステムを構成するための車輪速度セ ンサの取り付け部に非接触型給電部 40を併設するようにしてもよい。 また、 ホ ィールアーチフランジ部の内板と外板合わせ部の保護または防鐯のために取着さ れるモール部材或いはトリム部材に非接触型給電部 40を併設するようにしても よい。 符号 3は携帯機 (キーレスエントリ一信号送信機) 、 符号 4はドアロック 機構であり、 携帯機 3と受信装置 20とドアロック機構 4とで車両のドアのロッ ク Zアンロックを遠隔制御するキーレスエントリ一システムを構成している。 なお、 本実施の形態ではキーレスェントリ一システムの一例としてドアのロッ ク /アンロックを遠隔制御するものを示したが、 ドアのロック Zアンロック制御 以外に例えばトランクの開閉や電動式窓 (パワーウィンドウ) の開閉等を遠隔制 御できる構成であってもよい。
受信装置 20は、 受信用のアンテナ 21と、 このアンテナ 21で受信した高周 波信号を増幅 ·復調して各タイヤセンサュニット 10や携帯機 3から送信された データを出力する受信部 22と、 受信部 22から出力された受信データを解読す る解読部 23とを備える。
解読部 2 3は、 受信データ中の車両識別情報に基づいて受信データが自車両に 対するものであるか否かをまず判定し、 自車両に対するものである場合には受信 データ中の信号種別識別情報に基づいて受信データが携帯機 3から送信されたも のかタイヤセンサユニット 1 0から送信されたものかを判別する。 そして、 解読 部 2 3は、 受信したデータがドアのロック/アンロック要求データ等のキーレス エントリーシステム用のデータである場合には、 そのデータをドアロック機構 4 へ供給する。 ドアロック機構 4は、 受信装置 2 0から供給されたドアのロック/ アンロック要求データに基づいてドアのロック Zアンロックを行なう。 また、 解 読部 2 3は、 受信したデータがタイヤセンサュニット 1 0から送信されたもので ある場合には、 受信したデータを表示装置 3 0へ供給する。
なお、 解読部 2 3は、 受信データが自車両に対するものである場合には、 車両 識別情報を除いた受信データをドアロック機構 4及び表示装置 3 0へ供給する構 成としてもよい。 この場合、 ドアロック機構 4及び表示装置 3 0側でキ一レスェ ントリーシステム用のデータであるかタイヤ監視システム用のデータであるかの 判断を行なう構成とする。
さらに、 受信装置 2 0はアンテナ 2 1と受信部 2 2とを備え、 受信したデータ をドアロック機構 4及び表示装置 3 0へ供給する構成としてもよい。 この場合、 ドアロック機構 4及び表示装置 3 0に解読部を設けて、 自車両に対するデータで あるか否か、 また、 キーレスエントリーシステム用のデータであるかタイヤ監視 システム用のデータであるかの判断を行なう構成とする。 この構成の場合、 キ一 レスエントリ一システム用の車両識別情報とタイヤ監視システム用の車両識別情 報とを異なるものにすることができる。
表示装置 3 0は、 タイヤ異常判定部 3 1と、 警告灯 3 2と、 警報ブザー 3 3と を備える。 表示装置 3 0の構成及び作用は後述する。
第 2図に示すようにタイヤセンサユニット 1 0は、 空気圧センサ 1 1と、 温度 センサ 1 2と、 送信制御部 1 3と、 無線送信部 1 4と、 送信用のアンテナ 1 5と、 非接触型受電部 5 0とからなる。 非接触型受電部 5 0は、 第 1図に示した非接触 型給電部 4 0から送出されたエネルギに基づいて直流電源を生成する。 タイヤセ ンサュニット 1 0は、 非接触型給電部 4 0から供給される直流電源で動作する。
送信制御部 1 3は、 A/D変換部 1 3 aと、 送信データ生成部 1 3 bと、 識別情 報記憶部 1 3 cと、 書込 '読出制御部 1 3 dと、 シリアル通信部 1 3 eとを備え る。 符号 1 3 f はシリアルデータの入出力端子群である。
空気圧センサ 1 1の出力及び温度センサ 1 2の出力は A/D変換器 1 3 aへ供 給され、 この AZD変換器 1 3 aによってデジタルデータ (空気圧デ一夕、 温度 デ一夕) へ変換される。 識別情報記憶部 1 3 cは不揮発性メモリ等を用いて構成 しており、 この識別情報記憶部 1 3 cに車両識別情報 (車両 I D ) とタイヤ識別 情報 (タイヤ I D ) とが格納される。 なお、 書込指令と車両識別情報 (車両 I D ) とタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) とをシリアル通信部 1 3 eを介して書込 ' 読出制御部 1 3 dへ供給することで、 識別情報記憶部 1 3 cに格納される車両識 別情報 (車両 I D ) 及びタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) を更新することができる。 また、 センサデータ読出指令をシリアル通信部 1 3 eを介して書込 ·読出制御部 1 3 dへ供給することで、 空気圧デ一夕及び温度デ一夕をシリアル通信部 1 3 e を介して外部に出力させることができる。 したがって、 このセンサデ一夕読出機 能を利用することで、 各センサ 1 1 , 1 2及び A/D変換器 1 3 aの動作をチェ ックすることができる。
送信データ生成部 1 3 bは、 予め設定した時間間隔毎に AZD変換器 1 3 aの A/D変換動作を起動させ、 空気圧デ一夕及び温度デ一夕を取得して、 取得した データを一時記憶する。 送信デ一夕生成部 1 3 bは、 先に取得した空気圧データ と今回取得した空気圧デ一夕との空気圧差を求め、 その差が予め設定した圧変化 許容値を越えている場合、 及び、 先に取得した温度データと今回取得した温度デ 一夕と温度差を求め、 その差が予め設定した温度変化許容値を越えている場合に は、 送信データを生成して無線送信部 1 4へ供給する。
無線送信部 1 4は、 送信データに基づいて所定の搬送周波数の搬送波を所定の 変調方式で変調した信号を生成し、 アンテナ 1 5から無線送信する。 ここで、 搬 送波の周波数及び変調方式は、 携帯機 (キーレスエントリー信号送信機) 3と同 じである。 言い換えれば、 キーレスエントリーシステムの無線信号の仕様とタイ ャ監視システムの無線信号の仕様を共通にしている。 これにより、 キーレスェン トリーシステム用の受信装置を利用して、 タイヤに関する情報を受信できる。
送信データは、 車両識別情報 (車両 I D ) とタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) と 空気圧データと温度データとからなる。 タイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) には、 前 右輪、 前左輪、 後右輪、 後左輪を区別する情報が含まれている。 なお、 タイヤ識 別情報 (タイヤ I D ) にタイヤの型式に関する情報等を含めるようにしてもよい。 なお、 キーレスエントリーシステムの送信データがプリアンブルデ一夕、 フレ ーム同期データ、 送信すべきデータの順序である場合、 送信データ生成部 1 3 b はそれと同じデータフォーマットの送信デ一タを生成する。 さらに、 送信データ 生成部 1 3 bは、 送信すべきデータ (車両識別情報とタイヤ識別情報と空気圧デ 一夕と温度データ) に対して C R Cデータ等のエラ一チェックデータを生成して、 生成したエラーチェックデータを付加するようにしてもよい。 エラーチェックデ —夕を付加することで、 受信装置側では受信信号のエラーの有無をチェックした り、 エラ一の訂正を行なうことができる。
また、 送信データ生成部 1 3 bは、 無線送信部 1 4を介してデータの送信を行 なった後に、 ランダムに設定した時間が経過した時点で同一の送信データを再度 送信し、 2回目の送信からさらにランダムに設定した時間が経過した時点で 3回 目の送信を行なうようにしてもよい。 これにより、 複数のタイヤセンサユニット 1 0からの無線送信タイミングが一致し、 受信装置側で正常な受信ができなくな ることを解消できる。
第 3図は無線送信データのフォーマツ卜の一例を示す図である。 携帯機 3及び タイヤセンサユニット 1 0は全 4 0ビットのデ一夕を送信する。 最初の 1 6ピッ トが車両識別情報 (車両 I D ) 、 次の 8ビットが信号種別、 最後の 1 6ビットが 制御情報またはタイヤ状態情報である。 信号種別によってキーレスエントリ一シ ステム用の信号であるかタイヤ監視システム用の信号であるかが区別される。 さ らに、 タイヤ監視システム用の信号である場合には、 信号種別がタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) となり、 このタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D ) によって前右輪、 前 左輪、 後右輪、 後左輪が区別される。 キーレスエントリ一システム用の信号では、 制御情報の上位 8ビットでドアロック制御情報を表わし、 制御情報の下位 8ビッ トでドアアンロック制御情報を表わす。 タイヤ監視システム用の信号では、 タイ ャ状態情報の上位 8ビットがタイヤ空気圧データであり、 タイヤ状態情報の下位
8ビットがタイャ内温度デ一夕である。
第 1図に示した表示装置 30内のタイヤ異常判定部 3 1は、 受信装置 20から 供給されたタイヤ識別情報 (タイヤ I D) 、 空気圧データ及び温度データに基づ いてそのタイヤが異常であるか否かを判定し、 タイヤ異常を判定した場合には警 告灯 32を点灯するとともに、 警報ブザー 33を鳴音させてタイヤ異常が検出さ れたことを報知させる。 なお、 警告灯 32は各タイヤ毎に対応して表示器 32 a 〜3 2 dを設け、 どのタイヤが異常であるかを可視表示できるようにしている。 第 4図はタイヤ空気圧とタイヤ内温度の関係を示すグラフである。 通常、 タイ ャ空気圧は 2. OKgZcm2 前後であり、 タイヤ内温度は 5 Ot〜 6 0°Cであ る。 タイヤがパンクした場合、 空気圧は 1 - 2 Kg/ cm2 〜0. 8 Kg/ cm2 に低下し、 タイヤ内温度は 60T:〜 70°Cに上昇する。 そこで本実施の形態では、 空気圧低下検出しきい値を 1. 2 Kg/cm2 に、 温度上昇検出しきい値を 6 0°Cに設定している。
そして、 タイヤ異常判定部 3 1は、 タイヤ空気圧が上記空気圧低下検出しきい 値以下であつて且つタイヤ内温度が上記温度上昇検出しきい値以上となって時点 Aで警告灯 32を点灯し、 警報ブザー 33を鳴動させる。 これにより運転者等に タイヤの異常を報知することができる。 どのタイヤが異常であるかが表示器 32 a〜32 dによって表示されるので、 点検 ·修理 ·交換等が必要なタイヤが速や かに分かる。
なお、 警告灯 32として空気圧低下を示す表示器とタイヤ内温度上昇を示す表 示器とを設け、 タイヤ異常判定部 3 1は空気圧低下とタイヤ内温度上昇とをそれ ぞれ個別に判断して、 空気圧低下とタイヤ内温度上昇とをそれぞれ独立に表示す るようにしてもよい。 また、 警報ブザー 3 3の代りに音声合成装置を備えて、 例 えば 「右前輪の空気圧が低下しています。 」 等の音声メッセ一ジによってタイヤ の異常を報知するようにしてもよい。
本実施の形態では、 タイヤセンサュニット 1 0側から送信されたタイヤ空気圧 及びタイヤ内温度に係る情報を受信装置 20で受信し、 受信したタイヤ空気圧及 びタイヤ内温度に基づいて車両側でタイヤの異常を判定する構成を示したが、 タ ィャセンサュニット 1 0内にタイヤ異常判定部を設け、 タイヤ異常と判定された
場合にタイヤ異常検出情報を無線送信する構成としてもよい。
第 5図は非接触型給電部及び非接触型受電部の一具体例を示すプロック構成図 である。 第 5図は電磁誘導を用いて電力を伝送する例を示している。 電磁誘導方 式の非接触型給電部 4 OAは、 周波数が数 1 OKHz〜数 100 KHzの高周波 信号を発生する発振器 41と、 高周波信号を電力増幅して送信側コイル (1次側 コイル) 43を駆動する電力増幅器 42とからなる。 電磁誘導方式の非接触型受 電部 5 OAは、 送信側コイル 43に電磁誘導結合する受信側コイル (2次側コィ ル) 51と、 この受信側コイル 51に誘起された交流電力を整流し平滑する整流 部 52と、 整流部 52から出力された直流電力に基づいて電圧が安定化された直 流電源 VDCを出力する定電圧部 53とからなる。 定電圧部 53から出力された 直流電源 VDCは、 第 2図に示したタイヤセンサユニット 10の各回路部 (各セ ンサ 1 1, 12、 送信制御部 1 3、 無線送信部 14) へ供給される。
第 6図は非接触型給電部及び非接触型受電部の他の具体例を示すプロック構成 図である。 第 6図はマイクロ波を用いて電力を伝送する例を示している。 マイク 口波方式の非接触型給電部 40 Bは、 周波数が数 GHz (ギガへルツ) の高周波 信号を発生する発振器 44と、 高周波信号を電力増幅して送信側アンテナ 46か ら送信する電力送信器 45とからなる。 マイクロ波方式の非接触型受電部 50 B は、 送信側アンテナ 46から送信されたマイクロ波を受信する受信側アンテナ 5 4と、 受信したマイクロ波を検波 ·整流する検波整流部 55と、 検波整流部 55 から出力された直流電力に基づいて電圧が安定化された直流電源 VDCを出力す る定電圧部 56とからなる。 定電圧部 56から出力された直流電源 VDCは、 第 2図に示したタイヤセンサユニット 10の各回路部 (各センサ 11, 12、 送信 制御部 13、 無線送信部 14) へ供給される。 なお、 非接触型給電部 40B及び 非接触型受電部 50 Bは、 GaAs半導体を用いて構成している。
第 7図は本発明に係るタイヤセンサュニットの構造の一例を示す模式図である。 タイヤセンサュニット 10は、 可撓性を有する一枚のシート状の基板 6 1 (例え ばフレキシブル基板) 上に、 空気圧センサを構成する半導体圧力センサチップ 6 2、 温度センサを構成する半導体温度センサチップ 63、 送信制御部を構成する 1チップマイクロコンピュータチップ 64等を実装するとともに、 上記基板 61
上に送信用アンテナパターン 6 5を形成している。 さらに、 上記基板 6 1上に非 接触型受電部 5 0を設けている。 符号 6 6は検波部又は検波整流部及び定電圧部 を構成する電源用回路部、 符号 6 7は受信側コイルまたは受信側アンテナが形成 されたエネルギ受信領域である。 このように可撓性を有する一枚のシート上の基 板 6 1上にタイヤセンサュニット 1 0を形成することで、 タイヤセンサユニット 1 0をタイヤ内に実装したりタイヤのゴム内に実装したりすることが容易になる。 タイヤホイールの表面に実装する場合、 通常の接着剤では、 その成分である可 塑剤によるチクソ性が問題となり、 長期使用の間にホイール表面及びシート状の 基板 6 1が腐食され、 結果として、 タイヤホイールの表面からシート状の基板 6 1が剥離するため、 本発明においては、 可塑剤を除去したシリル基特殊ポリマー を主成分とする接着剤を使用する。

本発明に使用した接着剤によると可塑剤を含有しない為、 長期間に亘る強固な 接着性を維持でき、 また各種金属、 プラスチックに対して強固な接着力を発揮す ることができる。 構造剤として、 無機充填剤 (炭酸カルシウム) の含有量は 3 5 〜4 5重量%が適当である。 接着剤は一定の厚み以上ないと充分な接着力を発揮 しない。 3 5重量%以下の場合、 接着剤が硬化するまでの間に接着剤がダレて、 一定以上の厚みを維持できない可能性がある。 また、 4 5重量%以上の場合、 接 着剤の均一塗布に問題が生じる可能性がある。
本発明に使用した接着剤の引張り速度 5 O mm/m i nにおける各材料ごとの 接着強さ (K g Z c m2 ) は以下の通りである。

フエノール 5 4 なお、 本実施の形態では各タイヤセンサュニット 1 0から送信されたタイヤの 状態に関する情報を 1つの受信装置 2 0で受信する構成を示したが、 各タイヤの 近傍に受信部をそれぞれ設けるようにしてもよい。 この場合、 タイヤセンサュニ ット 1 0の無線送信部 1 4は、 送信すべき情報に応じて受信側コイル 5 1の負荷 インピーダンスを変化させることで電磁誘導電波を変調するようにしてもよい。 また、 タイヤセンサュニット 1 0の無線送信部 1 4は、 受信側アンテナ 5 4の負 荷インピーダンスを送信すべき情報に応じて変化させることで、 送信すべき情報 で変調されたマイクロ波を発生させるようにしてもよい。 産業上の利用可能性
以上説明したように本発明に係るタイヤセンサュニットは、 車体側に設けられ た非接触型給電部から送出されたエネルギに基づいて直流電源を生成する非接触 型受電部を備えたので、 タイヤセンサユニットを電池レスとすることができ、 電 池交換の必要がなくなる。 また、 タイヤ側に電池を取り付ける必要がないので、 タイヤの重量バランス調整作業が面倒になることがない。
また、 一枚のシート上の基板上にタイヤセンサユニットを形成することで、 夕 ィャセンサュニットをタイヤ内に実装したりタイヤのゴム内に実装したりするこ とが容易になる。
Claims
1 . 車両のタイヤに取り付けられタイヤの状態に関する情報を無線で送信する タイヤセンサユニットであって、 このタイヤセンサユニットは、 車体側に設けら れた非接触型給電部から送出されたエネルギに基づいて直流電源を生成する非接 触型受電部を備え、 この非接触型受電部から前記タイヤセンサュニットの動作に 必要な電力を供給する構成としたことを特徴とするタイヤセンサュニット。
2 . 請求の範囲第 1項に記載のタイヤセンサユニットにおいて、 前記非接触型 給電部から前記非接触型受電部への無線によるエネルギの伝送は電磁誘導を用い てなされることを特徴とするタイヤセンサュニット。
3 . 請求の範囲第 1項に記載のタイヤセンサユニットにおいて、 前記非接触型 給電部から前記非接触型受電部への無線によるエネルギの伝送はマイクロ波を用 いてなされることを特徵とするタイヤセンサュニット。
4 . 請求の範囲第 1項に記載のタイヤセンサユニットにおいて、 前記タイヤの 空気圧を検出する圧力センサと、 検出したタイヤ空気圧に係る情報を無線送信す るための回路部と、 前記非接触型受電部とがー枚のシート状の基板に設けられて いることを特徴とするタイヤセンサュニット。
5 . 請求の範囲第 4項に記載のタイヤセンサユニットにおいて、 前記基板は、 可塑剤を実質的に含まず、 シリル基末端ポリマーを主成分とする接着剤にてタイ ャホイールに接着されていることを特徴とするタイヤセンサユニット。
