Abstract

A method of lottery tickets creation, comprising an identification number and a set of characters, comprising m characters, wherein a winning lottery ticket is distinguished by the identification number and/or the sequence of characters, consists in that the set of identification numbers (P), consisting of p identification numbers is created and the set (N) consisting of n characters from the set of characters (M) is randomly selected, wherein the number n is smaller or equal to the number m. From the randomly selected n characters the assumed x number of the winning sequences (s), comprising k characters is arranged and entered. The winning sequences (s) are entered in the lottery tickets and m-k unique characters without any additional winning sequences from the set of characters (M) are added to each lottery ticket comprising the winning sequences (s). To each of the p-x losing lottery tickets are entered m unique characters from the set of characters from the set of characters (M) without the winning sequences. A random ticket number from the set of numbers (P) is assigned to each lottery ticket and a set of characters (M) with the lottery ticket number is recorded.

Description

Method of lottery tickets creation
This invention relates to a method of lottery tickets creation, comprising an identification number and a set of characters. The winning tickets are recognized by an identification number and/or by a winning sequence of characters. An example for such a lottery ticket may be a lottery card, comprising an unique identification number and an unique table of different characters. The characters of winning sequences may be disclosed one by one, causing the increase of the emotional tension of gamblers, and increasing the attractiveness of the lottery, even if number of the winning lottery tickets has been assumed in advance . The methods of determining a winning lottery tickets based on randomly selecting of of the winning sequence and comparing with the stored pattern, known from the US Specifications No. 4,909,516 and No. 4,475,157 leads to an appointment of an unforeseen number of winners. Number of winners may be foreseen only statistically and its temporary deviations from the mean value may be significant, what makes the gamble continuation difficult to an operator.
The method of randomly selecting of lottery winners with the foreseen prize sum is known too. This method has been disclosed in the International - Patent Application No. PCT/SE92/00543, which has been granted Polish patent No. 170662. Also this method bases on randomly selecting of the winners among the stored lottery tickets, wherein sequences of numbers are randomly selected, which are longer than the winning sequences and the structure of which presents the exact number of winners for the assumed number of lottery tables. The creation method of these sequences of numbers is enough complicated and it doesn't make possible fixing the number of sequences which are close to the winning sequences and which are important in consideration of the gamble attractiveness. A method of lottery tickets creation, comprising an identification number and a set of characters comprising m characters, wherein a winning lottery ticket is distinguished by a sequence of characters, according to the invention comprises the steps of: creating a set of identification numbers, consisting of p identification numbers, randomly selecting the set, consisting of n characters from the set of characters, wherein the number n is smaller or equal the number m, arranging and recording an assumed number x of the winning sequences, comprising k characters, from the randomly selected n characters, entering the winning sequences in the lottery tickets, adding m-k unique characters without the additional winning sequences from the set of characters to each lottery ticket comprising the winning sequences, entering m unique characters from the set of characters without winning sequences in each of p-x losing lottery tickets, assigning a random ticket number from the set of numbers to each lottery ticket, and recording a set of characters from the set of characters together with the ticket number.
At the step of entering m unique characters from the set of characters, without the winning sequences, on the losing lottery tickets, the sequences of characters consisting of the assumed number of characters from the sets consisting of n characters and of the other characters from the characters set are entered favourably. The number of the entered sequences consisting of the assumed number of characters from the set consisting of n characters and of the other characters from the characters set is determined favourable in advance.
The winning sequences and the entered set of characters from the set of characters together with recorded lottery ticket number are favourable protected against disclosure before the moment of counter sale/opening. The set consisting of n characters is favourable protected against the disclosure before the announcement of the lottery operator.
The characters and the numbers are favourably entered in the lottery tickets in a computer memory.
The method in accordance with the invention enables easy and precise assignation of number of the winning lottery tickets. Moreover, it enables also the introducing of additional sequences of characters, which may be used for the next gamble stages or for increasing of the gambling attractiveness.
The invention is explained in more detail with respect to the drawing, where fig. 1 presents relations between the set of characters, used for the embodiment in accordance with the invention, while fig. 2 presents the flowchart, illustrating the method in accordance with the invention.
In the following embodiment of the invention the lottery cards have been exploited, which comprise 70 unique characters, in other words the number of m elements of the set of M characters is equal 70. The characters are numbers, from 1 to 70, arranged in five columns and fourteen lines. So, the number of the tables possible to be arranged is (14 !)5, or is larger than 5-1054. The winning sequence consists of five characters arranged in one line of the table which has been set up that way, namely the winning line. The set of lottery tickets P consists of 100000 numbers, from 000001 to 100000. It has been assumed that there will be 1000 winners by 100000 lottery tickets, in other words the assumed number of x winning sequences amounts to 1000. From among the set of characters M, in other words the set of unique numbers from 1 to 70, the set N has been randomly selected, which consists of 35 different numbers.1000 winning sequences have been arranged from these randomly selected numbers, comprising five numbers each, and they have been entered on 1000 lottery tickets in accidentally chosen lines. The left over lines have been filled in with numbers from 1 to 70 in such a way that no additional winning sequences arise. So created tables have been entered into computer memory. The next 2000 new sequences have been created from the winning sequences, which differ with one character from the winning sequences. The new sequences have been entered on the lottery tickets, the' tables have been completed and entered into computer memory, just the same as in the case of the winning sequences. Next, 97000 losing lottery tickets have been created, filling tables with numbers from 1 to 70 in such a way that no additional winning sequences arise, as well as no additional new sequences differing with one character from the winning sequences . These tables have been also recorded in a computer memory. 100000 numbers from the set P have been random assigned to these tables. The winning sequences, new sequences, differing with one character from the winning sequences and the corresponding with them numbers have been hidden. The scored lottery tickets have been printed on a fast computer printer. The winning Lottery tickets may be disclosed twice - at first by the public succeeding disclosure of numbers from the winning lines, to increase the emotional tension of gamblers, and later on by the announcement of the winning lottery ticket numbers to those gamblers, who have omitted the first disclosure. The announcement of the winning lottery ticket number enables its earlier identification.
